Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan has spoken candidly about the ongoing grief she feels following the sudden death of her younger sister, Darci Rose, who died last month at the age of 19.Hagan, 33, first announced the news on Instagram, describing her “immeasurable grief and sadness” and thanking emergency services in Manchester for their efforts. She asked for privacy on behalf of her family as they attempted to process the shock and trauma of the loss.
00:00Hi guys, I just wanted to jump on and say thank you so much for all of the support that you've given over the last month and a bit, whether it was with my sister or with the pregnancy.
00:10It's all been a huge whirlwind of emotions, up and down, and yeah, I just want to say thank you so much for the support.
00:19I've never had as many messages as I have had in my life, and I feel like it's really touched so many people.
00:25Me and Jacob were just saying yesterday, like, God, it's so strange that, you know, random strangers are feeling just so touched by the things that have happened.
00:35I think, like, as a parent, as a sister, as anybody in the world with any sense of empathy, you just can only imagine how it feels.
00:46And I felt like that about other people, being like, oh my God, I can only imagine how they feel in this circumstance.
00:51But I am doing okay. I am strong.
00:56And, hang on, it's going to go off.
00:59But I do obviously have my moments where I do break down, and that is completely normal.
01:04But for the most part, I am being strong. I am able to be strong.
01:09Doesn't mean it's not still hard, but there's just been so many things that I've needed to sort out.
01:15But yeah, I just wanted to say thank you, and I do just want to, like, I don't want all of the posts that I'm posting to make people cry.
01:21And to be depressing, I do want it to be, like, happy and light-hearted, as it always has been.
01:27But this is just where my life is right now.
01:29So I do apologise that the posts have been emotional ones.

01:36But I'm just so glad that you guys know that I'm pregnant, because I did feel like I was obviously hiding something really big.
01:42I do tend to gain quite a lot of weight when I'm pregnant, which means that I've been struggling to hide that.
01:47But now I can just openly gain weight, and you guys know, which is great.
