00:01They were once just upgraded caravans,
00:04useful for a simple and cheap family holiday.
00:09But today's motorhomes are anything but ordinary.
00:12Come on inside.
00:14They've evolved into jaw-dropping palaces on wheels.
00:18It's even better than my house.
00:20Bigger, smarter, and more luxurious than ever,
00:24with bespoke interiors, cutting-edge innovation.
00:28A small car fits in your motorhome.
00:30And price tags that rival supercars and private jets.
00:34Our product is between 2 million.
00:36We really like it.
00:38We work more than a year.
00:39All the spec, the design, the features.
00:42Today's ultra-high-end motorhomes
00:44are redefining luxury living on the move.
00:48We have the same manufacturer of beds
00:50that is used by the Queen of England.
00:52We actually have more TVs in our motorhome now
00:54than we did in our house.
00:55That's true.
00:56Where world-class engineering meets extravagance,
00:59offering palatial opulence wherever the road leads.
01:03If price is not an object,
01:05we can craft the motor coach of your dreams.
01:15For those who want to truly stand out from the crowd,
01:18there's one motorhome that is so striking in its design.
01:21It's almost a work of art.
01:27And with only five of these vehicles in existence,
01:30it's sure to turn heads.
01:33Welcome on board on our Marquis Mobile Elements.
01:36We are driving today here in Dortmund.
01:38The Elements is the flagship ultra-luxury motorhome
01:42from Germany's Marquis Mobile.
01:44It's very special to drive an Elements
01:47because you are sitting very high
01:49and you see a lot through the windows.
01:51And of course, driving the vehicle,
01:54people always see you.
01:55You know this are these reactions.
02:00If you drive this car, you have to wait a few minutes
02:05and you see reactions like this, really.
02:11The first reaction is always the same.
02:14It's just, wow.
02:15People are amazed.
02:17They're standing, mouths are open.
02:19Police pick me out on the highway to stop me,
02:23just to get a look inside into the cabin.
02:26People are blocking streets, taking pictures.
02:30It's always just, wow.
02:32You can sleep and everything is there.
02:34Yeah, you have a bathroom in it.
02:36You have a kitchen in it.
02:37And if you want, you can sleep in it, yes.
02:39Okay, that's really awesome.
02:41The shape is really unique.
02:43Yeah, the design is very unique, yeah.
02:46Marquis is the brainchild of Dortmund-based couple
02:49Mario and Julian.
02:53Specializing in bespoke one-off futuristic vehicles,
02:57they cater to ultra-wealthy clients and celebrities
03:00and push the boundaries of motorhome design
03:03into the realms of science fiction.
03:05All right, there you go.
03:07There is the big boss.
03:09Mario's arriving.
03:10Hi.
03:11Austrian-born Mario has a love of four-wheeled luxury.
03:18He's always a tad late, as you can see.
03:22Hi.
03:23Hi.
03:24How are you?
03:25How was the ride?
03:26Good, thank you.
03:27Mario's love of cars began when he was young.
03:29After training to be a mechanic and customizing vehicles,
03:32he set up his own company producing four-wheeled luxury.
03:35And with the help of his wife, Julian,
03:37they now create groundbreaking designs.
03:39So Mario would always be the driving force, the engine,
03:42the one with the crazy ideas.
03:43And then I will make sure things get done
03:44and put things in order and create the project around it
03:47and make sure that whatever his crazy idea was
03:50gets put into life.
03:51All of our trucks are recognizable immediately
03:53with the same aerodynamic shape and design.
03:55That's our signature.
03:56Many of Marquis' creations have been inspired
03:58by the late German industrial designer, Luigi Colani.
04:00He's the one with the driving force,
04:01the engine, the one with the crazy ideas.
04:03And then I will make sure things get done
04:04and put things in order and create the project around it
04:06and make sure that whatever his crazy idea was
04:08gets put into life.
04:10All of our trucks are recognizable immediately
04:12with the same aerodynamic shape and design.
04:15That's our signature.
04:16Many of Marquis' creations have been inspired
04:18by the late German industrial designer, Luigi Colani.
04:20Mario and Julian bought the copyright of his vehicle concepts,
04:25created additional luxury elements and made them a reality.
04:30We got more and more focused on the luxury design
04:35and finally I decided to build a mobile mansion on wheels.
04:45One of Luigi's concepts inspired the element,
04:48believed to be the most luxurious motorhome on the road.
04:52And bespoke additions have been sold to super wealthy clients
04:55for over two million pounds.
05:00We are having a two-room extension
05:03to enlarge the interior, the mobile living room.
05:07At the touch of a button, the motorhome extends out to double the width of the vehicle
05:14to almost five meters, enabling its lucky owners to enjoy 732 square feet of sumptuous interior space.
05:24In London's upmarket Knightsbridge, a luxury flat of this size could set you back a cool 12 million pounds.
05:31It took months, many months, to create this floor plan.
05:36And the bedroom, which includes a 30,000 pound bed, comes with the royal seal of approval.
05:43We have the same manufacturer of beds that is used by the Queen of England.
05:49So, I think that's quite something.
05:52The first time as I saw this design, I was completely overwhelmed.
05:57It's so unique, it's so outstanding.
06:00It immediately catches your attention within seconds.
06:05No matter if you like it or not, you know.
06:08Arguably the world's most futuristic motorhome, the vehicle has been created with high-performance carbon fiber materials
06:18and a cockpit that features aviation-style control systems, along with ultra-luxurious upholstery.
06:25But it's the panoramic helicopter-like windshield which really catches the attention.
06:31It's a very futuristic design with a fully glazed cabin.
06:37You have a perfect view all over.
06:42We spend years and a lot of money to make it really happen.
06:48And a windscreen with such an innovative design doesn't come cheap.
06:53The glazing of the cabin turns out to 50,000 euros.
06:59It's very expensive.
07:01There are only a few suppliers on the market worldwide who are able to produce it for us.
07:10If the cockpit design is impressive, some of the features of the motorhome take ultra-luxury living to new limits.
07:18Like the extraordinary walled-in roof deck, which costs a cool quarter of a million pounds.
07:24And is known as the Sky Lounge.
07:27From the outside, you would see that you have a roof terrace that automatically lifts up.
07:33You just simply push a button and it slides out.
07:36Same technology as you would find in a superyacht, but on wheels.
07:42There are only five bespoke element motorhomes in existence.
07:46This one at Mario and Julian's headquarters in Dortmund is currently used as an office by the husband and wife team.
07:55The high-spec cockpit provides one of the most luxurious driving seats.
08:01So we are now in the cabin of the Element vehicle.
08:04As you can see, very spacious, very futuristic.
08:09The cockpit features premium leather seat coverings provided by some of Europe's finest high-end suppliers and costs £7,000 per seat.
08:19You have a fantastic view in all directions and angles.
08:23It's also very safe because the driver is sitting much higher compared to a standard truck.
08:32Always looking to push the boundaries of style and innovation, Julian and Mario are focused on improvements to future additions of the vehicle.
08:41We're looking in every little corner.
08:43We do multiple test drives and security checks and anything you can imagine to make sure that everything is just as perfect as we've promised to the client.
08:54But Julian and Mario have been working on a highly ambitious new creation that's set to change the face of motorhomes forever.
09:07The world of luxury motorhomes doesn't just appeal to those seeking traffic-stopping designs.
09:16For some, it's about crafting a bespoke creation, perfectly tailored to their discerning tastes and ultra-luxury lifestyle.
09:27Like the billionaire businessman and star of the French-Canadian Dragon's Den, Luc Poirier and his wife Isabelle.
09:35They own a huge collection of high-end luxury sports cars and are now looking for a motorhome to match.
09:42I bought almost every model of Ferrari since 1962.
09:48I started the collection because I have time, I have money and I say, why not?
09:54Well, why not indeed?
09:56The value right now is about 19 million around.
10:00After my wife is the best thing in the world, car, supercar.
10:05Wife and kids.
10:08We have a pretty nice car collection, but now we ordered a pretty nice coach.
10:15We work more than a year, all the specs, the design, the features.
10:19So we're really excited about that.
10:22Isabelle and Luc are after a dream £1.8 million motorhome for family road trips
10:29and have hired one of North America's leading luxury motorhome makers to help them create it.
10:35The Quebec-based Prevost have over 100 years of motorhome manufacturing experience and a raft of high-profile celebrity clients.
10:46The likes of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, alias pop stars Lady Gaga, Olivia Rodrigo and Foo Fighters have all toured in their vehicles,
10:56which can sell for up to £3 million.
11:01There's a lot of craftsmanship that goes in building those products, from the structure all the way to the finished product.
11:09For Luc and Isabelle's bespoke motorhome, Prevost have created an ultra-strong chassis that will be the shell of the luxury vehicle.
11:18Right now we are in the frame welding department, which is the birth of the most luxurious motorhome in the world.
11:28It takes more than 28 days to build those units. It starts actually with stainless steel tubes.
11:35So we have the best welders basically building the first part of that journey, which is building the overall chassis of the motorhome.
11:43The motorhome's engine comes from Prevost's sister company, Volvo, and provides 500 horsepower.
11:52We are in the engine sub-assembly area. So we received the Volvo D13 engine. The engine itself is around 40,000 US dollars.
12:04That's the price of a normal car, but in our vehicle it's just the engine.
12:07It's just the engine.
12:10Once the shell is complete, the vehicles are handed over to partner firms such as Loki Coach, who will bring to life the most luxurious interiors imaginable.
12:22Chief Creative Officer Kevin is tasked with ensuring that the luxury motorhome has the highest quality finish.
12:29So this is a blank canvas Prevost shell, and this is the way that we get them from the factory.
12:35And this is basically, they're all shipped to us like this, and this is where we start the transformation process.
12:42Our Loki Coach is luxury at every level. For us, the idea was to do it with no compromise.
12:55Design-wise, we're kind of in our mind designing like a supercar.
13:01The whole range for our product basically is between 2 million US and 5 million US, I will say.
13:08Every motorhome is unique, and the interiors are created bespoke for super wealthy clients.
13:16They work with designers to choose every last detail of the fit-out.
13:21From specially designed flooring to handcrafted countertops that can set you back hundreds of thousands of pounds.
13:27This is a small example of the finishings that we can customize. You know, we'll start with the flooring and the walls.
13:37We'll custom develop any color of wood to go for the interior of the coach.
13:43The customer we have, what they all have in common is that they're really precise about, you know, specific requests.
13:49Some of the customers, money is no object.
13:53If you want to have something that's completely exclusive, we've had a customer that picked a stone that's from Italy from a specific quarry, and it's almost the art piece of his coach.
14:04We can build anything that you want, and if you're looking for exotic materials and price is not an object, then essentially we can craft the motor coach of your dreams.
14:16For Isabel and Luke's motorhome, Kevin needs to ensure that not only are the couple happy with the design, but also their staff.
14:24This outdoor kitchen is for the use of Luke's chef. Luke specifically asked that we get his input because he's going to be cooking for them at different places that they go.
14:35So here at the front, we have a plancha, which is a gas stove. We also have the induction cooktop.
14:41One of the things that was really required for his chef was that he likes to entertain and kind of make a show when he's cooking.
14:50So on the other side, we've integrated a full collapsible bar area.
14:56So essentially he can talk to Luke and his wife while he's cooking.
15:00Luke is a huge car guy. One of the things that he's a big fan of is the carbon fiber finish.
15:06And so that was one of the customizations that we did for this coach.
15:11You can see here at the entrance, we made this out of carbon fiber and different pieces along the dashboard as well.
15:18So just the carbon fiber integration was a 25K upgrade.
15:25It's a lot of money, but it's tailored to what he wanted.
15:28And this attention to detail extends to the color scheme, which has been carefully selected to complement Luke's other luxury acquisitions.
15:38For Luke's build in particular, the paint scheme we had match his new jet.
15:43And that's something that people like to do, color match their fleets.
15:46In Dortmund, Germany, Julian and Mario, who are known for creating some of the most eye-catching futuristic motorhomes in the world.
16:03Hi, Christian. Hi. Hi. Hi.
16:05Have come up with their most innovative and out of this world design yet.
16:12The rolling rocket transporter.
16:16Well, the rocket is really one of our favorite projects in the past years. Definitely it is.
16:24It's a one time piece. It's a state of the art. It's absolutely unique.
16:28The rocket is being commissioned by an uber wealthy client in America and comes with a price tag of over £6 million.
16:38It looks truly like a space rocket.
16:41And our customer comes from California and he was brave enough to take a concept study that was done to show the most unique and extreme form a truck can have.
16:53My favorite on the vehicle is definitely the front end. It really looks like almost a Concorde plane.
17:03It does.
17:04And if you sit inside, you believe you're not on earth anymore. Definitely.
17:10The client has requested that once the design is complete, it should have room for more than just luxury living.
17:17The client is a huge car collection and his plan is actually to park his supercars in the rear and then be driving around all over the United States to some car shows and exhibit the cars and have a VIP room where you see the round windows to host his friends and family and then he will be driving in the cockpit.
17:39So, it's a handmade prototype. It will become a high-end interior build out made out of 3D organic formed mineral coated furniture.
18:00Once complete, the rocket will be furnished with space-age super luxury interiors.
18:08But first, Mario needs to ensure the navigation is working.
18:13With our steer-by-wire technology, with this joystick I'm able to control the vehicle's directions.
18:20It's actually completely impossible to install a steering wheel because the drive wagon is completely disconnected from our cockpit.
18:32It's literally like flying a plane or even better, flying a rocket.
18:38Before liftoff, Mario wants to test if the steering system is in working order.
18:43So, I will turn on our rocket truck.
18:53So, I'm ready.
18:54Ready?
19:12That is cool.
19:15See the excitement in his face?
19:17He really is like a little boy in just a big man's clothing, right?
19:20Soon we will be on the test track.
19:23That is lovely.
19:25But the rocket won't be ready for delivery until Mario and Julianne are completely satisfied.
19:32Luxury really is all about attention to detail.
19:35Nothing beats attention to detail.
19:37For some, a motorhome is a showpiece for the occasional road trip.
19:49But for others, the desire to escape the everyday without sacrificing the comforts of home has redefined what luxury living can truly mean.
19:58One American couple loved motorhoming so much, they sold their mansion and made it a permanent lifestyle.
20:09Well, we used to have a home that we lived in.
20:12It was a beautiful house. It was new construction. It was in the heart of downtown where we lived in North Carolina.
20:17But we were just not sold on the fact that, like, we were stationary. We couldn't really go anywhere.
20:22And the house was starting to feel like more of a burden to us.
20:26We bought an RV and we found that we were traveling all over the place in this RV, but we still had a home.
20:31So we were bouncing back and forth and trying to manage two properties effectively.
20:35And ultimately, I think one day Hillary looked at me and said, why do we have the house?
20:39Let's just live in the RV full time. So that's where we got started.
20:42So after giving up their careers at a healthcare tech company where they met, Hillary and Chris sold their £900,000 home and swapped it for a luxury £1 million motorhome from premium vehicle brand American Coach.
20:59The motorhomes are renowned for their craftsmanship and style and come with custom designed floor plans, high-end amenities and slide-outs, which double the living space.
21:12It's a unique and luxurious way to experience life on the road.
21:17This is a 2026 American Coach Eagle.
21:21In the cab, one of the things that we really love is just how high-tech everything is.
21:27We have these two captain seats, which are really comfortable for driving.
21:31We have this huge screen here, which has cameras on the right.
21:35And then we also have a GPS and navigation system here on the left.
21:38One of my favorite features is that they also have built-in massagers.
21:44So this is a luxury that everybody needs when on the road.
21:47When you've been sitting for a really long time, you can just kick this on and it starts to massage you while driving.
21:54Moving into the living space of our motorhome, this was one of the things that we wanted to keep in mind when we custom designed this with having a big open living space.
22:02So we have about 400 square feet with the slides extended here.
22:07And on this side, we have theater seating that is so comfortable.
22:11We usually hang out here, watch TV, watch movies.
22:14It was really important for us to create a bespoke motorhome.
22:17We have been touring RVs for four and a half years now.
22:22We never felt like we found one that was just perfect for what we wanted.
22:27The kitchen, living area and bathroom all feature Cambria quartz, which cost a total of £13,000 and helps create an elegant uniformity throughout the vehicle.
22:39On this side, we have an electric fireplace that really helps to set the mood and also helps provide warmth on cold nights while we're out camping or glamping, as I like to say.
22:51This L-shaped kitchen, which is got a large sink on this side.
22:56Over here is the main cooking and workstation.
22:59And we've got a microwave and convection oven combo here, a two burner induction cooktop.
23:04We've got tons of space for all of our pots and pans and silverware and different things like that.
23:10I think we were just so amazed by the freedom and the exploration that we have.
23:15But we also didn't want to give up on any of the luxury comforts of home.
23:20The high-end finish and detailing extends to the sleeping quarters.
23:25We have a king-size memory foam mattress, which is so comfortable.
23:30And the greatest thing about this is that our bed never changes, no matter the location.
23:34But we have so many luxury amenities in this motorhome.
23:37We have heated floors throughout.
23:39We have a large glass shower with unlimited hot water, which is pretty amazing.
23:44Four TVs, no matter 45 inches or more, and Starlink to connect them all to the internet at all times.
23:50Yeah, we actually have more TVs in our motorhome now than we did in our 2,000-square-foot house.
23:53That's true.
23:55But it's not just the luxuries that have to be spot on.
23:57We've got a stackable washer and dryer here.
24:00And this is a must for us living on the road.
24:02That way we can do laundry right here in the RV and we don't have to go to a laundromat.
24:07And it doesn't end there.
24:10Hilary and Chris have now become part of a super-exclusive club where, along with other wealthy motorhome owners,
24:17they can live the luxury life away from the road.
24:20It's like living in a country club for motor coach owners.
24:24French Canadian billionaires, Luke and Isabel, own a fleet of expensive cars.
24:40And they're about to set eyes on their latest acquisition.
24:43A bespoke luxury 1.8 million pound dream motorhome.
24:52Yeah, it's big, yeah?
24:53Already look very nice.
24:55Yeah.
24:59The color is amazing.
25:01That touch of red, it's really nice. I love it.
25:04Wow.
25:06It's huge.
25:10Nice car.
25:11It's bigger than I thought.
25:13The interiors have been designed by motorhome specialists' low-key coach.
25:18Hey guys, welcome.
25:19Whose chief creative officer, Kevin, is on hand to personally deliver the vehicle.
25:24Exciting.
25:25It is, thank you.
25:27Wow.
25:28It's incredible, eh?
25:29Can't wait to show it to you.
25:33Carbon, wow.
25:34Wow.
25:35Yeah.
25:36Wow, the carbon is incredible.
25:37Yeah.
25:38I really like that, it's like a sporty coach.
25:40But look, even the dash, that's really pretty.
25:44Wow.
25:48The design incorporates heated floors, advanced air conditioning, and high-grade insulation
25:55to ensure that the vehicle can be used all year round.
26:00And for an added taste of luxury, the upholstery has been handcrafted with white Italian leather.
26:10Perfect color, eh?
26:12Exactly like we wanted it.
26:14Welcome home.
26:17Yeah, thank you.
26:18Wow.
26:19We really like it.
26:21For the kitchen, bespoke quartz countertops have been created, along with a high-grade UV water
26:28purification system.
26:29One of the things that we added was the induction cooktop here is actually built in underneath,
26:36and you cook directly on your countertop.
26:39And your controls for this are integrated here.
26:41I want that at home now.
26:42I need that at home now.
26:43I like everything inside, but honestly, I think the kitchen is really well done.
26:51And there's a lot of features that I didn't remember that we chose to see it like that.
26:56It's crazy.
26:57Okay.
26:58And then here's for the kids' bunk area.
26:59Oh, wow.
27:00Okay.
27:01Nice.
27:02The children's sleeping quarters feature hand-stitched Alcantara, a material known for its tactile,
27:08suede-like texture and durability.
27:11The kids will love that.
27:13It's really nice.
27:14It's like their little private space.
27:16That's perfect.
27:17In the double bedroom.
27:20Oh, wow.
27:21Oh, that's nice.
27:22Kevin and his team have incorporated plenty of room for Luke and Isabel's designer clothing.
27:30You've got a ton of storage space to bring stuff on the road with you, so I think you
27:35guys are going to like that.
27:36It's all the worries.
27:37A lot of stuff.
27:38He's worse than me.
27:39I do, but he's worse.
27:41By maximizing the space on board, Kevin's team have found room for a king-size bed and
27:51a cinema experience with surround sound, soundproofing, and a 4K projector.
27:57The request to put in the projector.
27:59It's a huge screen.
28:00You guys are going to have a blast here.
28:04Okay.
28:05Cool.
28:08Wow.
28:09With all the big screen everywhere, I have a lot of place to watch F1, football, and
28:23Remark Sports events.
28:25That's cool.
28:30Luke's latest acquisition won't be stationary for long.
28:34He and Isabel are planning an epic road trip.
28:37That's cool.
28:38We're supposed to go in around one month across Canada.
28:43We're going to be on the road for a long, long time, and we're going to visit all the
28:50Rockies, Vancouver, North Vancouver, almost Alaska.
28:55It will be a great time, yeah, with my friends and my family.
29:00It's going to be fun.
29:01We've been working so hard to make it perfect and to see it happening.
29:08They delivered perfectly.
29:11It's better than what we thought.
29:14You choose.
29:15Well, congrats.
29:17Most of us think of motorhomes as a way to holiday on the road.
29:28But for others, they're an essential part of everyday life.
29:32From pop stars unwinding after a performance to elite athletes chasing every possible edge,
29:39the motorhome has become a mobile sanctuary and a tool for peak performance.
29:50Meet the rising star of Formula One.
29:54So here we are.
29:56Shoes off at the door, please.
29:59Try to keep the grass out of here.
30:02And come on inside.
30:04The vehicle has been lent to Oli for use on race weekends by Dembel, a Hungarian company
30:11who creates luxury motorhomes.
30:14Oli is a very busy driver.
30:18And there's a lot of buzz going around here, being the first year in the Formula One.
30:23So really, Oli is looking Dembel as his home away from home in a very luxurious way.
30:30It's beautiful.
30:31It's even better than my house, which is maybe something I should work on.
30:35But, you know, the great thing about these motorhomes is that we can park so close to the races anywhere we want.
30:41You know, right now at Silverstone, I'm five minutes away from the track.
30:45The nearest hotel is 30 or 40 minutes, which can turn into an hour quite easily.
30:50The £1.2 million motorhome maximizes Oli's recuperation time in between laps of the racetrack.
30:58And in return, he does a bit of valuable publicity for the brand.
31:02There's actually a bed up here which comes down, which is nice to have if we have any guests over.
31:08When it's just myself and my girlfriend, we don't need the second bed.
31:12But it comes down and last week my brother was staying with me and that was his home for the weekend.
31:18We have a full kitchen, which is great, nice comfy sofa.
31:22We had the Xbox set up last week.
31:25When I was karting many years ago, my family had a motorhome, an American one.
31:31And we used to pretty much live in that on race weekends as well.
31:34Of course, this one is incredibly luxury compared to what we had back then.
31:38And it's cool because there's a few drivers that stay in motorhomes every weekend
31:42and usually they're in kind of the same bubble together.
31:45And everyone has their own extravagant, you know, style, which is really nice.
31:50The company transports the vehicle around the world.
31:54So Oli gets to enjoy private luxury living wherever he's racing.
31:59It's crazy that we can have it at every race.
32:02We have the bathroom. There is a heated toilet seat. Very nice.
32:08So here we have my bedroom.
32:12It's really nice to be in such a comfortable place.
32:15Plenty of space here. TV where I can spend some hours before bed.
32:20And yeah, I just am able to get a really peaceful sleep here.
32:24He really needed a place where he can rest.
32:28You immediately notice that there is no noise around you.
32:32It's completely noise proof.
32:34So that's very important in the Formula One racetrack.
32:37After a race, nice long shower is step one.
32:41You know, we get very sweaty and hot during the race.
32:44It's good to kind of relax the muscles a little bit after a difficult race.
32:48The motorhome shower comes with a 1,000 litre fresh water tank,
32:52which the makers claim is the largest on the market.
32:56And then really just get as much sleep as possible.
32:58You know, often on race weekends, it can be almost 12 hours in bed.
33:03As part of the service, Oli's motorhome is always fully stocked to his exact specifications
33:10before it's delivered to the next racetrack.
33:13My fridge is stocked at all times with lots of water especially, but also all of the home comforts I would have when I'm really at home.
33:22A lot of water because I'm very dehydrated after a race.
33:26There's a lot of mental strain and this place just allows me to really relax.
33:33So with Oli off to face his F1 rivals on the starting grid, he knows there's a luxurious home away from home to return to beyond the checkered flag.
33:43Budapest-based Dembel not only create motorhomes for celebrities, they're also known as the creators of the most luxurious motorhomes in Europe.
34:0112 meters in length, 4 meters in height and 2.5 meters in width.
34:08This is the largest licensed motorhome on the European Union roads.
34:14You cannot drive longer than 12 meters.
34:18These mega large vehicles weigh a massive 26 tons and come with an equally heavy price tag.
34:251.2, 1.3 million euro.
34:28With two slide outs on hydraulic pump systems, the vehicles add an extra 323 to 470 square feet of living space.
34:39But size isn't everything.
34:41The motorhomes, which have been dubbed land yachts, offer ultra-luxury living on the road.
34:48I think the luxurious attention and details makes the end product unique.
34:53We are fanatic about every bits and pieces what we do in our luxurious motorhomes.
34:59We are not happy with something just good.
35:03We are really looking for the perfect finish.
35:06Meet Attila, the man who is at the heart of overseeing the production of the vehicles.
35:11The attention that is really everywhere in our operation is really in our blood.
35:17Creating a bespoke motorhome of this size can take over a year to complete.
35:24And it all starts with a structure provided by an iconic car brand.
35:30We receive Mercedes-Benz Actros chassis and we build the Dembelle behind.
35:36Founded in 1926, the German motoring powerhouse is renowned globally for its blend of luxury, sportiness and performance.
35:45We actually convert this Mercedes into a bespoke dembelle motorhome.
35:52A structure of this size needs to be ultra-sturdy in order to be roadworthy.
35:57Because of the 12-metre-length vehicle, we need to make sure that the vehicle doesn't deform,
36:04doesn't switch, turn, whenever it goes in a bump or uphill.
36:08It's a heavy vehicle, it's 26 tons, so it always remains in the same shape.
36:13The clients of us, they are high-network clients and they expect nothing less but perfect.
36:20This unit is the Dembelle's signature model.
36:26It's not just big, it's not just the most luxurious, but it has got a secret feature that we are really proud of.
36:34We're just going to press this button and look what happens.
36:36The company have come up with a solution to the ultimate billionaire's problem.
36:41Where to store your Ferrari California, or whatever your supercar of choice is,
36:47when you're enjoying life on the road in your luxury motorhome.
36:51Whenever they park, they're not going to move with that, right?
36:54You get your best spot, you want to explore the neighbourhood.
36:57So how do you do that?
36:58You need to come up with a solution that a small car fits in your motorhome.
37:03Clearly, if you look into the garage space, you might think,
37:06Hey, how will I fit the car here? It's just impossible. And look what happens.
37:13This is a bedroom floor patented by Dembelle.
37:17By raising the bedroom floor, the garage space is expanded to accommodate a car.
37:25There you go. And this is a massive garage space.
37:29Let's press the green button. And here we go.
37:44The high-spec garage can accommodate any car up to four metres long.
37:49Car is in. Garage layer is closed. We are ready to rumble.
37:56We are ready to go anywhere we want around the world.
38:01Inside the vehicle itself, luxury living on the road is in evidence everywhere.
38:07The interiors have been specially crafted by the award-winning Italian design studio,
38:12Galezzi and Minotti, who are best known for their work on luxury yachts.
38:18We don't have sharp edges. We only have curved areas. Everything is polished to the perfection.
38:24We use a very special paint from Italy. And we paint every surface seven different layers.
38:31And it's so difficult. It took us almost six months to get it right.
38:35It was a nightmare. But once we get it right, we have this finish, which is absolutely outstanding.
38:42The upholstery is the work of the same team who make the interiors in Ferraris and Bentleys.
38:49And the latest technology has been employed to ensure life on the road is as comfortable as possible.
38:56Because the software, what actually runs the entire system, it turns, it converts the motorhome into a smart home.
39:04Everything is basically sensor measured and reacts to your needs all the time.
39:11The master bedroom stretches the entire width of the vehicle and features a king-sized bed, fitted wardrobes and an integrated TV.
39:23And the most luxurious, yet simple and functional technology ensures the owners are always in control of the mega motorhome.
39:32Right behind this door is basically the brain, the front end of the vehicle. Everything is integrated into this screen over here.
39:42It's very clean, very easy to use. It's really designed for any user.
39:47The main screen controls all the functionalities of the vehicle.
39:51And you can even manage the vehicle when you're away from it via a smart app.
40:01No motorhome leaves the Budapest HQ until it's been thoroughly road tested.
40:06This afternoon, one of the firm's co-owners, Gabor, is helping Attila to assess if the latest model is ready for shipping.
40:14We will never hand over a vehicle that we personally don't shine.
40:18Gabor and Attila need to test if the huge vehicle is as luxurious to drive as it is to live in.
40:25This is the highest sitting position you can drive in Europe. You have a feeling you are a king on the roads.
40:32Gabor also needs to test if the innovative 360-degree camera system on the vehicle is working perfectly.
40:40I'm really, really happy with this car. I will talk with the guys in the factory.
40:45They made an excellent job.
40:48This vehicle is ready for shipping.
40:51And the owner, like many of their high net worth clients, may opt for the company's VIP service.
40:58The concierge service was created for our clients to make sure that we offer them 360 degree service, 724.
41:07For an additional £20,000 a year, the motorhome team guarantee that there'll only ever be a phone call away.
41:16Whenever they want to have the vehicle delivered to a location, then we will deliver it so the client just can fly down with their private jet.
41:23They can enjoy their time and whenever they're done, they give us a call and we go and we pick up the vehicle.
41:28But not everyone needs a concierge service, especially if you live in your motorhome 24-7.
41:40Like Michigan couple Hillary and Chris.
41:43We get bored really easily. I've never lived anywhere more than two years.
41:46This is like the perfect mix for us where we can still explore and try new things, but we don't have to move our stuff constantly.
41:53No cell service for 105 kilometers.
42:00Let's hope we don't have trouble.
42:02And the couple's radical lifestyle change has now become a social media phenomenon.
42:07About two years ago, we decided to start sharing our experiences of living and traveling full-time in a motorhome on social media.
42:15Today is finally the day. After four and a half years of RVing, we are taking our RV into Canada for the very first time.
42:22I posted an online tour of our new motorhome. It got about 400 million views worldwide.
42:29Now we have about 2.6 million followers across our social media channels and never in our wildest dreams did we ever think this was going to be a reality.
42:38But we were able to turn this into a full-time job doing content creation and sharing all about our journeys.
42:45Four years after selling their home and becoming permanent motorhomers, Hillary and Chris and their dog Axel
42:52Look, that Axel recognizes where we're at.
42:54He's excited.
42:55He knows.
42:56Have just returned from a cross-country 5,000-mile road trip.
43:00We really just took it out, pushed it all through the Pacific Northwest and up into Canada and back into Minnesota and finally back into Michigan.
43:10One of the unique benefits of a life of luxury on four wheels is the ever-changing backdrop of some of America and Canada's most stunning scenery.
43:19From the awe-inspiring Monument Valley in Arizona to the breathtaking peaks of the Rockies.
43:27But if you're wealthy, you can also afford a permanent parking spot that is a cut above any other.
43:34So, we own two lots at different motorcoach resorts across the country.
43:38We own one in Southern California and we also own this one here in Northern Michigan.
43:43And we just chase the weather. So, for us, it's always 75 degrees year-round, right? We're just in a different location.
43:52Look at the waterfall.
43:55It's always pretty to return here.
43:57Passside Grove in Michigan is a high-end resort created to cater exclusively to super-wealthy motorhome residents.
44:07Basically, it's like living in a country club for motorcoach owners.
44:13Some of the motorhomes can cost multi-millions.
44:16And it's really just all about giving you kind of that home base in a sense to park your motorcoach and have a place that really feels like yours and feels like home.
44:24This is definitely a luxury lifestyle and it's a very unique experience.
44:30At their Michigan base, the couple own land on which they've created a five-star living space.
44:37So, we actually had this new pergola built.
44:41And it is a beautiful pergola that covers the entire space.
44:44So, we have a living area here with a sectional sofa, a large fire pit so we can sit around and stay cozy at night.
44:52And then we also hung an outdoor TV so that way we can spend almost all of our time outside and really never have to go inside.
44:58We do. We live out here. I mean, this is where we spend all of our time when we're not in the coach.
45:02Yeah.
45:04Living in an RV, your kitchen is typically a little bit smaller.
45:07Even though ours inside the coach is really nice, it's amazing to have this expanded space out here where we can cook, have friends over, and just really enjoy a good time.
45:15It's my favorite spot.
45:16And at their plush resort, everyone has a luxury motorhome.
45:21The RV community is very close-knit and it's a lot of people that are very active, want to hang out, want to do things.
45:27We have more friends now living in a motorhome than we ever did living in a house.
45:31And, I mean, our social calendar is totally packed full now.
45:34It honestly does feel like we're living our dream.
45:37I'd say it's even better than living our dream because it's a dream I didn't even realize that I wanted until you started to live it.
45:43And this is amazing. Every day you wake up, it's not like being on vacation. It's just like your life is a vacation almost.
45:51For Hillary and Chris, though, the call of the road is always strong.
45:55If we decide one day we want to pack up and leave and go take a weekend trip, we really easily can because the RV is here.
46:02We've already got all of our stuff in it. We just have to disconnect it, pull it out, and we're off for a new weekend adventure.
46:17More streaming now. The world's most luxurious cruises whenever you want with some swanky superyachts next Monday at 8.
46:23Now, opulent ways to travel on a great Riviera rail trip.
46:26Sandy Toksvig is getting on board this Saturday from 5 past 8.
46:30Next tonight, isolation is anything but peaceful as dark truths rain down in summer water.
