00:00What's up everyone, it's Zach Braziller with the New York Post.

00:03A much happier Rick Pitino and St. John's today after a 96-81 win over Baylor.

00:09Really responded well to that heartbreaking Iowa State loss.

00:12Shot incredibly well from the field, made 11 threes.

00:15Bryce Hopkins had 26, Oziah Sellers had 22, Dylan Mitchell 18.

00:20They came storming out of gates with an 18-4 lead, led by as much as 21.

00:25A really important win today, if you ask me.

00:28They dropped a few really tough games to two very good teams, Alabama and Iowa State.

00:33I think this Baylor team will be a tournament team, but like St. John's, it's a very new roster.

00:37It's probably going to take them time to gel.

00:40But this is a win that ultimately will most likely be a quad one win.

00:44It was important for them not only to win today just to get off the schneid against the high major opposition,

00:52but because they won today, they're now going to get a quality opponent tomorrow.

00:55We don't know who that is yet.

00:56A lot of that's based on tiebreakers and point differential in this tournament.

01:01I think there's a decent chance it'll be someone like Auburn, maybe a Houston if they lose to Tennessee.

01:06But look, a very important step.

01:08Rick Pitino was thrilled postgame, said the team was as devastated as him after the loss.

01:13And they showed it with great focus this morning, with great focus last night in their film session.

01:19It reminded me a little of last year when they lost that crusher to Baylor in double overtime and they came back and beat Virginia.

01:25That kind of set the tone for the season of this team that just hates to lose and was going to do whatever it took.

01:31And I think you saw some of that today.

01:33They have a chance now to have to make this a really good trip if they win tomorrow.

01:36So a good day for St. John's.
