00:00An update for you now on the spectacular heist that rocked the Louvre Museum last month.
00:05French police have made four more arrests today.
00:08Authorities say they've arrested two men and two women, all from the Paris region.
00:13The thieves managed to make off with an estimated 88 million euros in jewels from the world-famous museum, all in just seven minutes.
00:22François-Montifor's Emerald Maxwell has more on today's arrest now.
00:25I'm standing outside the BRI's HQ, that's the search and investigation brigade of the Paris police.
00:35And they said Tuesday that they'd arrested four more people suspected of being involved in that Louvre heist that shocked the country a month ago.
00:44Two men, age 38 and 39, and two women, age 31 and 40, have been arrested and are now being interrogated.
00:51They are all from the Paris region.
00:53And these come on top of four other suspects who were detained a month ago.
00:57One of the men arrested today is suspected of being the fourth gang member who broke into the museum on October 19th.
01:04Police had already tracked the other three suspected gang members, thanks to DNA tracers at the scene.
01:09Two of them are suspected of entering the museum using a truck-mounted ladder, and one is suspected of driving one of the two getaway scooters.
01:18Now the fourth member of the gang has reportedly been found.
01:21The four others in detention are suspected of complicity in organized robbery, and all of them have been described by police as petty criminals.
01:29So far, though, the BRI have found they have had less luck in tracing those crown jewels, 88 million euros worth of them.
01:36We still don't know what's happened to them, whether they've been melted down or not.
01:39They, of course, they were taken in broad daylight in just seven minutes in that audacious heist on Paris' most famous museum on October 19th.
