00:23Prior to his performance, footage of the empty streets of the country were shown where many
00:26were unable to gather for the religious holiday due to the coronavirus pandemic that has swept
00:31the world.
00:32The singer's voice could be overheard the footage offering hope that the day will serve as a
00:35quote, universal symbol of rebirth.
00:47Dressed in a tux, Bocelli gave his performance inside the cathedral where he performed a beautiful
00:51rendition of Ave Maria among other songs.
