'Younger' is poised to be TV Land's oldest original series. The sitcom has been renewed for a seventh season, making it the cable network's longest-running scripted effort.

00:13has been renewed for a seventh season, making this the network's oldest original series.
00:18The Darren Star comedy, which stars Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff and Debbie Mazur among others,
00:23is currently in its sixth season and the love for the series is only continuing to grow.
00:27The season six premiere tallied up 1.3 million viewers, which was up 24 percent from last season.
00:33Paramount and TV Land president of development and production Keith Cox released a statement
00:37following the renewal news saying,
00:49In making it to season seven, Younger will pass the network's current record holder for longest
00:54tenure, which is hot in Cleveland, that aired on TV Land for six seasons.
00:57Younger was originally set to move to Paramount Network but ultimately decided to stay put
01:02at TV Land and instead stars other series, Emily in Paris, is set to premiere on Paramount.
