'Daily Show' host Trevor Noah is going on the road — and taking Quibi along for the ride.

00:00Trevor Noah is the latest A-list star to head to the short-form streaming platform, Quibi.
00:04The Daily Show host is going on the road and taking Quibi along for the ride.
00:08Noah will star in and executive produce an untitled series for the short-form streaming platform
00:13that will chronicle a tour he takes to the far corners of the country and beyond.
00:16The series, which is part comedy and part travelogue, will give viewers a look at the candid interactions
00:21Noah has with the people he meets and the places he visits along the way.
00:25It will also show how those moments influence both his point of view and his stand-up comedy.
00:29Americans will go back to the finest statistic.
00:31The last time a black man scored using his left hand jumping over a mixed-race half-Indian was in 1967.
00:41Quibi, the mobile-only platform founded by Jeffrey Katzenberg,
00:44is slated to launch in Spring 2020 and deliver its series to users in chapters of 8 to 10 minutes each.
00:49Quibi will cost $5 per month for version with ads and $8 monthly for one without.
00:53There are currently more than 40 scripted and unscripted projects in the works at the platform.
00:57Now this move makes Noah the latest A-lister to bring a project to Quibi.
01:01The mobile-only streaming platform has also greenlit series from Guillermo del Toro,
01:04Jennifer Lopez, Lena Waithe, Lorne Michaels, Darren Criss, Tyra Banks and Idris Elba among others.
