00:00They were once just upgraded caravans useful for a simple and cheap family
00:07holiday. But today's motorhomes are anything but
00:11ordinary. Come on inside. They've evolved into jaw-dropping palaces on wheels.
00:17But it's even better than my house. Bigger, smarter and more luxurious than ever
00:24with bespoke interiors, cutting-edge innovation. A small car fits in your
00:29motorhome. And price tags that rival supercars and private jets. Our product
00:34is between 2 million US and 5 million US I will say. Wow, we really like it. We
00:41worked more than a year. All the specs, the design, the features. Today's ultra
00:46high-end motorhomes are redefining luxury living on the move. We have the same
00:51manufacturer of beds that is used by the Queen of England. We actually have more
00:56TVs in our motorhome now than we did in our house. That's true. Where world-class
01:00engineering meets extravagance, offering palatial opulence wherever the road leads.
01:06If price is not an object, we can craft the motorcoach of your drinks.
01:12For those who want to truly stand out from the crowd, there's one motorhome that is so striking
01:24in its design. It's almost a work of art.
01:27And with only five of these vehicles in existence, it's sure to turn heads.
01:35Welcome on board on our marquee mobile elements. We are driving today here in
01:41Dortmund. The element is the flagship ultra-luxury motorhome from Germany's marquee
01:47mobile. It's very special to drive an element because you are sitting very high and you
01:53see a lot through the windows. And of course, driving the vehicle, people always see you.
01:59You know, this are these reactions. If you drive this car, you have to wait a few minutes and
02:10you see reactions like this. Really. The first reaction is always the same. It's just, wow.
02:18People are amazed. They're standing. Mouths are open. Police picked me out on the highway to stop me,
02:26just to get a look inside into the cabin. People are blocking streets, taking pictures. It's always
02:34just, wow. You can sleep and everything is there. Yeah, you have a bathroom in it. You have a kitchen
02:40in it. And if you want, you can sleep in it. Yes. Okay. That's really awesome. The shape is really
02:45unique. Yeah. The design is very unique. Yeah. Marquee is the brainchild of Dortmund-based couple
02:52Mario and Yulian. Specializing in bespoke one-off futuristic vehicles, they cater to ultra-wealthy
03:01clients and celebrities and push the boundaries of motorhome design into the realms of science fiction.
03:08All right. There you go. There is the big bus. Mario's arriving. Hi.
03:14Austrian-born Mario has a love of four-wheeled luxury. He's always a tad late, as you can see.
03:27Hi. Hi. How come? How are you? How was the ride? Good. Thank you. Mario's love of cars began when he was
03:37young. After training to be a mechanic and customizing vehicles, he set up his own company
03:44producing four-wheeled luxury. And with the help of his wife, Yulian, they now create ground-breaking
03:51designs. So Mario would always be the driving force, the engine, the one with the crazy ideas. And then I
03:57will make sure things get done and put things in order and create the project around it and make sure
04:03that whatever his crazy idea was gets put into life. All of our trucks are recognizable immediately
04:10with the same aerodynamic shape and design. That's our signature. Many of Marquis' creations have been
04:18inspired by the late German industrial designer Luigi Colani. Mario and Yulian bought the copyright of
04:26his vehicle concepts, created additional luxury elements, and made them a reality.
04:33We got more and more focused on the luxury design. And finally, I decided to build a mobile mansion on wheels.
04:47One of Luigi's concepts inspired the element, believed to be the most luxurious motorhome on the road. And bespoke
04:55additions have been sold to super wealthy clients for over two million pounds.
05:02We are having a two-room extension to enlarge the interior of the mobile living room.
05:10At the touch of a button, the motorhome extends out to double the width of the vehicle to almost
05:17five meters, enabling its lucky owners to enjoy 732 square feet of sumptuous interior space. In London's
05:27upmarket Knightsbridge, a luxury flat of this size could set you back a cool 12 million pounds.
05:33It took months, many months, to create this floor plan. And the bedroom, which includes a 30,000 pound bed,
05:43comes with the royal seal of approval. We have the same manufacturer of beds that is used by the Queen of England.
05:51So, I think that's quite something.
05:55The first time as I saw this design, I was completely overwhelmed. It's so unique, it's so outstanding.
06:02It immediately catches your attention within seconds, no matter if you like it or not, you know.
06:12Arguably the world's most futuristic motorhome, the vehicle has been created with high-performance carbon fiber materials
06:20and a cockpit that features aviation-style control systems along with ultra-luxurious upholstery.
06:28But it's the panoramic helicopter-like windshield which really catches the attention.
06:34It's a very futuristic design with a fully glazed cabin. You have a perfect view all over.
06:44We spend years and a lot of money to make it really happen.
06:50And a windscreen with such an innovative design doesn't come cheap.
06:55The glazing of the cabin turns out to 50,000 euros. It's very expensive.
07:03There are only a few suppliers on the market worldwide who are able to produce it for us.
07:13If the cockpit design is impressive, some of the features of the motorhome take ultra-luxury living to new limits.
07:20Like the extraordinary walled-in roof deck which costs a cool quarter of a million pounds and is known as the Sky Lounge.
07:29From the outside you would see that you have a roof terrace that automatically lifts up.
07:35You just simply push a button and it slides out.
07:38Same technology as you would find in a superyacht but on wheels.
07:42There are only five bespoke Element motorhomes in existence.
07:48This one at Mario and Julian's headquarters in Dortmund is currently used as an office by the husband and wife team.
07:55The high-spec cockpit provides one of the most luxurious driving seats.
08:01So we are now in the cabin of the Element vehicle. As you can see, very spacious, very futuristic.
08:11The cockpit features premium leather seat coverings provided by some of Europe's finest high-end suppliers and costs 7,000 pounds per seat.
08:21You have a fantastic view in all directions and angles.
08:26It's also very safe because the driver is sitting much higher compared to a standard truck.
08:33Always looking to push the boundaries of style and innovation, Julian and Mario are focused on improvements to future additions of the vehicle.
08:43We're looking in every little corner. We do multiple test drives and security checks and anything you can imagine to make sure that everything is just as perfect as we've promised to the client.
08:57But Julian and Mario have been working on a highly ambitious new creation that's set to change the face of motorhomes forever.
09:06The world of luxury motorhomes doesn't just appeal to those seeking traffic-stopping designs.
09:17For some, it's about crafting a bespoke creation, perfectly tailored to their discerning tastes and ultra-luxury lifestyle.
09:25Like the billionaire businessman and star of the French Canadian Dragon's Den, Luc Poirier and his wife Isabelle.
09:37They own a huge collection of high-end luxury sports cars and are now looking for a motorhome to match.
09:44I bought almost every model of Ferrari since 1962.
09:50I started the collection because I have time, I have money and I say, why not?
09:56Well, why not indeed?
09:58The value right now is about 19 million around.
10:02After my wife is the best thing in the world, car, supercar.
10:07Wife and kids.
10:10We have a pretty nice car collection, but now we ordered a pretty nice coach.
10:17We work more than a year, all the specs, the design, the features, so we're really excited about that.
10:24Isabelle and Luc are after a dream Β£1.8 million motorhome for family road trips
10:31and have hired one of North America's leading luxury motorhome makers to help them create it.
10:37The Quebec-based Prevost have over 100 years of motorhome manufacturing experience and a raft of high-profile celebrity clients.
10:48The likes of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, A-list pop stars Lady Gaga, Olivia Rodrigo and Foo Fighters have all toured in their vehicles, which can sell for up to Β£3 million.
11:00There's a lot of craftsmanship that goes in building those products from the structure all the way to the finished product.
11:10For Luc and Isabelle's bespoke motorhome, Prevost have created an ultra-strong chassis that will be the shell of the luxury vehicle.
11:20Right now we are in the frame welding department, which is the birth of the most luxurious motorhome in the world.
11:30It takes more than 28 days to build those units. It starts actually with stainless steel tubes.
11:37So we have the best welders basically building the first part of that journey, which is building the overall chassis of the motorhome.
11:45The motorhome's engine comes from Prevost's sister company, Volvo, and provides 500 horsepower.
11:53We are in the engine sub-assembly area. So we received the Volvo D13 engine. The engine itself is around 40,000 US dollars.
12:05That's the price of a normal car, but in our vehicle it's just the engine.
12:09Once the shell is complete, the vehicles are handed over to partner firms such as Loki Coach, who will bring to life the most luxurious interiors imaginable.
12:22Chief Creative Officer Kevin is tasked with ensuring that the luxury motorhome has the highest quality finish.
12:30So this is a blank canvas Prevost shell, and this is the way that we get them from the factory.
12:37And this is basically, they're all shipped to us like this, and this is where we start the transformation process.
12:45Our Loki Coach is luxury at every level. For us the idea was to do it with no compromise.
12:53Design-wise, we're kind of in our mind designing like a supercar.
13:04You know, the whole range for our product basically is between 2 million US and 5 million US, I will say.
13:10Every motorhome is unique, and the interiors are created bespoke for super wealthy clients.
13:18They work with designers to choose every last detail of the fit-out.
13:23From specially designed flooring to handcrafted countertops that can set you back hundreds of thousands of pounds.
13:30This is a small example of the finishings that we can customize.
13:35You know, we'll start with the flooring and the walls.
13:39We'll custom develop any color of wood to go for the interior of the coach.
13:45The customer we have, what they all have in common is that they're really precise about, you know, specific requests.
13:52Some of the customers, money is no object.
13:56If you want to have something that's completely exclusive, we've had a customer that picked a stone that's from Italy from a specific quarry,
14:04and it's almost the art piece of his coach.
14:07We can build anything that you want, and if you're looking for exotic materials and price is not an object,
14:14then essentially we can craft the motor coach of your dreams.
14:18For Isabel and Luke's motorhome, Kevin needs to ensure that not only are the couple happy with the design, but also their staff.
14:27This outdoor kitchen is for the use of Luke's chef. Luke specifically asked that we get his input because he's going to be cooking for them at different places that they go.
14:36So here at the front, we have a plancha, which is a gas stove. We also have the induction cooktop.
14:44One of the things that was really required for his chef was that he likes to entertain and kind of make a show when he's cooking.
14:52So on the other side, we've integrated full collapsible bar area.
14:58So essentially he can talk to Luke and his wife while he's cooking.
15:03Luke is a huge car guy. One of the things that he's a big fan of is the carbon fiber finish.
15:09And so that was one of the customizations that we did for this coach.
15:13You can see here at the entrance, we made this out of carbon fiber and different pieces along the dashboard as well.
15:20So just the carbon fiber integration was a 25K upgrade.
15:27It's a lot of money, but he tailored to what he wanted.
15:31And this attention to detail extends to the color scheme, which has been carefully selected to complement Luke's other luck.
15:38luxury acquisitions.
15:40For Luke's build in particular, the paint scheme we had match his new jet.
15:44And that's something that people like to do, color match their fleets.
15:56In Dortmund, Germany, Julian and Mario, who are known for creating some of the most eye-catching futuristic motorhomes in the world.
16:04Hi Christian.
16:05Hi.
16:06Hi.
16:07Hi.
16:08Hi.
16:09Have come up with their most innovative and out of this world design yet.
16:15The rolling rocket transporter.
16:17Well, the rocket is really one of our favorite projects in the past years, definitely it is.
16:25It's a one time piece.
16:27It's a state of the art.
16:28It's absolutely unique.
16:30The rocket is being commissioned by an uber wealthy client in America and comes with a price tag of over six million pounds.
16:40It looks truly like a space rocket and our customer comes from California and he was brave enough to take a concept study that was done to show the most unique and extreme form a truck can have.
16:55My favorite on the vehicle is definitely the front end.
17:00It really looks like almost a Concorde plane.
17:04It does.
17:05And if you sit inside, you believe you're not on earth anymore.
17:10Definitely.
17:11The client has requested that once the design is complete, it should have room for more than just luxury living.
17:20The client has a huge car collection and his plan is actually to park his supercars in the rear and then be driving around all over the United States to some car shows and exhibit the cars and have a VIP room where you see the round windows to host his friends and family.
17:39And then he will be driving in the cockpit.
17:50So.
17:51It's a handmade prototype.
17:54It will become a high end interior build out made out of 3D organic formed mineral coated furniture.
18:03Once complete, the rocket will be furnished with space age super luxury interiors.
18:10But first, Mario needs to ensure the navigation is working.
18:15With our steer by wire technology, with this joystick, I'm able to control the vehicle's directions.
18:23It's actually completely impossible to install a steering wheel because the drive wagon is completely disconnected from our cockpit.
18:33It's literally like flying a plane or even better flying a rocket.
18:39Before liftoff, Mario wants to test if the steering system is in working order.
18:45So I will turn on our rocket truck.
18:55I'm ready.
18:56I'm ready.
19:14That is cool.
19:17See the excitement in his face?
19:19He really is like a little boy in just a big man's clothing, right?
19:22Soon we will be on the test track.
19:25That is lovely.
19:26But the rocket won't be ready for delivery until Mario and Julianne are completely satisfied.
19:33Luxury really is all about attention to detail.
19:36Nothing beats attention to detail.
19:39For some, a motorhome is a showpiece for the occasional road trip.
19:50But for others, the desire to escape the everyday without sacrificing the comforts of home has redefined what luxury living can truly mean.
20:04One American couple loved motorhoming so much, they sold their mansion and made it a permanent lifestyle.
20:10Oh, we used to have a home that we lived in.
20:14It was a beautiful house.
20:15It was new construction.
20:16It was in the heart of downtown where we lived in North Carolina.
20:20But we were just not sold on the fact that, like, we were stationary.
20:23We couldn't really go anywhere.
20:24And the house was starting to feel like more of a burden to us.
20:27We bought an RV and we found that we were traveling all over the place in this RV, but we still had a home.
20:33So we were bouncing back and forth and trying to manage two properties effectively.
20:37And ultimately, I think one day Hillary looked at me and said, why do we have the house?
20:40Let's just live in the RV full time.
20:42So that's where we got started.
20:44So after giving up their careers at a healthcare tech company where they met, Hillary and Chris sold their Β£900,000 home and swapped it for a luxury Β£1 million motorhome from premium vehicle brand American Coach.
21:02The motorhomes are renowned for their craftsmanship and style and come with custom designed floor plans, high-end amenities and slide-outs which double the living space.
21:15It's a unique and luxurious way to experience life on the road.
21:20This is a 2026 American Coach Eagle.
21:24In the cab, one of the things that we really love is just how high-tech everything is.
21:29We have these two captain seats, which are really comfortable for driving.
21:33We have this huge screen here, which has cameras on the right.
21:37And then we also have a GPS and navigation system here on the left.
21:41One of my favorite features is that they also have built-in massagers.
21:46So this is a luxury that everybody needs when on the road.
21:50When you've been sitting for a really long time, you can just kick this on and it starts to massage you while driving.
21:55Moving into the living space of our motorhome, this was one of the things that we wanted to keep in mind when we custom designed this with having a big open living space.
22:05So we have about 400 square feet with the slides extended here.
22:08And on this side, we have theater seating that is so comfortable.
22:13We usually hang out here, watch TV, watch movies.
22:17It was really important for us to create a bespoke motorhome.
22:20We have been touring RVs for four and a half years now.
22:24We never felt like we found one that was just perfect for what we wanted.
22:29The kitchen, living area and bathroom all feature Cambria quartz, which cost a total of Β£13,000 and helps create an elegant uniformity throughout the vehicle.
22:41On this side, we have an electric fireplace that really helps to set the mood and also helps provide warmth on cold nights while we're out camping or glamping, as I like to say.
22:54This L-shaped kitchen, which has got a large sink on this side.
22:58Over here is the main cooking and workstation.
23:01And we've got a microwave and convection oven combo here, a two burner induction cooktop.
23:07We've got tons of space for all of our pots and pans and silverware and different things like that.
23:12I think we were just so amazed by the freedom and the exploration that we have.
23:17But we also didn't want to give up on any of the luxury comforts of home.
23:23The high-end finish and detailing extends to the sleeping quarters.
23:27We have a king-size memory foam mattress, which is so comfortable.
23:32And the greatest thing about this is that our bed never changes, no matter the location.
23:36But we have so many luxury amenities in this motor home.
23:39We have heated floors throughout.
23:41We have a large glass shower with unlimited hot water, which is pretty amazing.
23:46Four TVs, about 45 inches or more, and Starlink to connect them all to the internet at all times.
23:52Yeah, we actually have more TVs in our motor home now than we did in our 2,000-square-foot house.
23:56That's true.
23:57But it's not just the luxuries that have to be spot on.
24:00We've got a stackable washer and dryer here, and this is a must for us living on the road.
24:05That way we can do laundry right here in the RV, and we don't have to go to a laundromat.
24:09And it doesn't end there.
24:11Hillary and Chris have now become part of a super-exclusive club,
24:15where, along with other wealthy motor home owners, they can live the luxury life away from the road.
24:22It's like living in a country club for motor coach owners.
24:37French-Canadian billionaires, Luke and Isabel, own a fleet of expensive cars.
24:43And they're about to set eyes on their latest acquisition.
24:47Ooh!
24:48A bespoke luxury 1.8 million pound dream motor home.
24:54That's big, eh?
24:56Already look very nice.
24:57Yay!
24:58Yeah!
25:01The color is amazing.
25:04That touch of red, it's really nice, I love it.
25:07Wow.
25:08You see?
25:09It's huge!
25:10Nice color!
25:13It's bigger than I thought.
25:15The interiors have been designed by motor home specialists' low-key coach.
25:20Hey guys, welcome.
25:21Whose chief creative officer, Kevin, is on hand to personally deliver the vehicle.
25:26Exciting!
25:27It is, thank you.
25:29Wow.
25:30It's incredible, eh?
25:31Can't wait to show it to you.
25:35Carbon, wow.
25:36Wow.
25:37Yeah.
25:38The carbon is incredible.
25:39Yeah.
25:40I really like that.
25:41It's like a sporty coach.
25:42Yeah.
25:43But look, even the dash.
25:44That's really pretty.
25:45Cool.
25:46Wow.
25:47Wow.
25:48The design incorporates heated floors, advanced air conditioning, and high-grade insulation
25:57to ensure that the vehicle can be used all year round.
26:01And for an added taste of luxury, the upholstery has been handcrafted with white Italian leather.
26:09Perfect colour, eh?
26:10Exactly like we wanted it.
26:11Wow.
26:12Welcome home.
26:13Wow.
26:16Wow.
26:17We really like it.
26:18For the kitchen, bespoke quartz countertops have been created, along with a high-grade UV
26:30water purification system.
26:32One of the things that we added was the induction cooktop here is actually built in underneath,
26:38and you cook directly on your countertop.
26:41And your controls for this are integrated here.
26:44I want that at home now.
26:45I need that at home now.
26:47I like everything inside, but honestly, I think the kitchen is really well done.
26:53And there's a lot of features that I didn't remember that we chose, so to see it like
26:58that, it's crazy.
26:59Yeah.
27:00And then here's for the kids.
27:01Oh, wow.
27:02Okay.
27:03Bunk area.
27:04Nice.
27:05The children's sleeping quarters feature hand-stitched alcantara, a material known for
27:10its tactile, suede-like texture and durability.
27:13The kids will love that.
27:15It's really nice.
27:16It's like their little private space.
27:18That's perfect.
27:19In the double bedroom.
27:22Oh, wow.
27:23That's nice.
27:24Kevin and his team have incorporated plenty of room for Luke and Isabel's designer clothing.
27:32Got a ton of storage space to bring stuff on the road with you.
27:36So that's, I think you guys are going to like that.
27:38Solid worries a lot of stuff.
27:39He's worse than me.
27:40I do, but he's worse.
27:43By maximizing the space on board,
27:48Kevin's team have found room for a king-sized bed and a cinema experience with surround sound,
27:56soundproofing, and a 4K projector.
27:59The request to put in the projector.
28:01It's a huge screen.
28:02You guys are going to have a blast here.
28:04What kind do you want?
28:05Cool.
28:06Wow.
28:07Just making the popcorn.
28:08Champagne.
28:09Champagne.
28:10Popcorn.
28:11We're just champagne.
28:12Wow.
28:13With all the big screen everywhere, I have a lot of place to watch F1, football, and
28:26sports events.
28:27That's cool, eh?
28:29Luke's latest acquisition won't be stationary for long.
28:36He and Isabel are planning an epic road trip.
28:39That's cool.
28:40We're supposed to go in around one month across Canada.
28:46We're going to be on the road for a long, long time, and we're going to visit all the
28:52Rockies, Vancouver, North Vancouver, almost Alaska.
28:57It will be a great time with my friends and my family.
29:02It's going to be fun.
29:07We've been working so hard to make it perfect and to see it happening.
29:12They delivered it perfectly.
29:14It's better than what we thought.
29:17You choose.
29:18Well, congrats.
29:26Most of us think of motorhomes as a way to holiday on the road, but for others,
29:31they're an essential part of everyday life.
29:35From pop stars unwinding after a performance to elite athletes chasing every possible edge,
29:41the motorhome has become a mobile sanctuary and a tool for peak performance.
29:52Meet the rising star of Formula One.
29:57So here we are.
29:58Shoes off at the door, please.
30:00Try to keep the grass out of here.
30:04And come on inside.
30:05The vehicle has been lent to Oli for use on race weekends by Dembel, a Hungarian company
30:13who creates luxury motorhomes.
30:15Oli is a very busy driver.
30:19And there's a lot of buzz going around here, being the first year in the Formula One.
30:24So really, Oli is looking Dembel as his home away from home in a very luxurious way.
30:32It's beautiful.
30:33It's even better than my house, which is maybe something I should work on.
30:37But, you know, the great thing about these motorhomes is that we can park so close to the races anywhere we want.
30:43You know, right now at Silverstone, I'm five minutes away from the track.
30:47The nearest hotel is 30 or 40 minutes, which can turn into an hour quite easily.
30:52The Β£1.2 million motorhome maximizes Oli's recuperation time in between laps of the racetrack.
31:01And in return, he does a bit of valuable publicity for the brand.
31:05There's actually a bed up here which comes down, which is nice to have if we have any guests over.
31:10When it's just myself and my girlfriend, we don't need the second bed.
31:15But it comes down and last week my brother was staying with me and that was his home for the weekend.
31:21We have a full kitchen, which is great, nice comfy sofa.
31:25We had the Xbox set up last week.
31:28When I was karting many years ago, my family had a motorhome, an American one.
31:34And we used to pretty much live in that on race weekends as well.
31:37Of course, this one is incredibly luxury compared to what we had back then.
31:41And it's cool because there's a few drivers that stay in motorhomes every weekend
31:45and usually they're in kind of the same bubble together.
31:48And everyone has their own extravagant, you know, style, which is really nice.
31:54The company transports the vehicle around the world,
31:57so Oli gets to enjoy private luxury living wherever he's racing.
32:02It's crazy that we can have it at every race.
32:05We have the bathroom.
32:07There is a heated toilet seat.
32:09Very nice.
32:11So, here we have my bedroom.
32:14It's really nice to be in such a comfortable place.
32:18Plenty of space here.
32:19TV where I can spend some hours before bed.
32:22And, yeah, I'm just able to get a really peaceful sleep here.
32:26He really needed a place where he can rest.
32:30You will immediately notice that there is no noise around you.
32:34It's completely noise proof.
32:36So, that's very important in the Formula One racetrack.
32:39After a race, nice long shower is step one.
32:43You know, we get very sweaty and hot during the race.
32:46It's good to kind of relax the muscles a little bit after a difficult race.
32:49The motorhome shower comes with a 1,000 litre fresh water tank,
32:54which the makers claim is the largest on the market.
32:58And then really just get as much sleep as possible, you know.
33:01Often, on race weekends, it can be almost 12 hours in bed.
33:05As part of the service, Oli's motorhome is always fully stocked
33:10to his exact specifications before it's delivered to the next racetrack.
33:16My fridge is stocked at all times with lots of water especially.
33:20But also, all of the home comforts I would have when I'm really at home.
33:24A lot of water because we're very dehydrated after a race.
33:28There's a lot of mental strain.
33:30And this place just allows me to really relax.
33:35So, with Oli off to face his F1 rivals on the starting grid,
33:40he knows there's a luxurious home away from home to return to,
33:44beyond the chequered flag.
33:54Budapest-based Dembel not only create motorhomes for celebrities,
33:58they're also known as the creators of the most luxurious motorhomes in Europe.
34:0512 meters in length, 4 meters in height and 2.5 meters in width.
34:11This is the largest licensed motorhome on the European Union roads.
34:17You cannot drive longer than 12 meters.
34:20These mega-large vehicles weigh a massive 26 tons
34:24and come with an equally heavy price tag.
34:271.2, 1.3 million euro.
34:30With two slide-outs on hydraulic pump systems,
34:33the vehicles add an extra 323 to 470 square feet of living space.
34:39But size isn't everything.
34:43The motorhomes, which have been dubbed land yachts,
34:46offer ultra-luxury living on the road.
34:49I think the luxurious attention and details makes the end product unique.
34:55We are fanatic about every bits and pieces,
34:59what we do in our luxurious motorhomes.
35:01We are not happy with something just good.
35:05We're really looking for the perfect finish.
35:08Meet Attila, the man who is at the heart of overseeing the production of the vehicles.
35:13The attention that is really everywhere in our operation is really in our blood.
35:22Creating a bespoke motorhome of this size can take over a year to complete.
35:27And it all starts with a structure provided by an iconic car brand.
35:32We receive Mercedes-Benz Actros chassis and we build the dambell behind.
35:39Founded in 1926, the German motoring powerhouse is renowned globally
35:44for its blend of luxury, sportiness and performance.
35:48We actually convert this Mercedes into a bespoke dambell motorhome.
35:54A structure of this size needs to be ultra-sturdy in order to be roadworthy.
36:00Because of the 12-metre-length vehicle,
36:02we need to make sure that the vehicle doesn't deform,
36:06doesn't switch, turn, whenever it goes in a bump or uphill.
36:11It's a heavy vehicle, it's 26 tons.
36:13So it always remains in the same shape.
36:15The clients of ours, they are high-network clients,
36:19and they expect nothing less but perfect.
36:23This unit is the dambell signature model.
36:28It's not just big, it's not just the most luxurious,
36:32but it has got a secret feature that we are really proud of.
36:36We're just going to press this button and look what happens.
36:39The company have come up with a solution to the ultimate billionaire's problem.
36:44Where to store your Ferrari California,
36:47or whatever your supercar of choice is,
36:49when you're enjoying life on the road in your luxury motorhome.
36:53Whenever they park, they're not going to move with that, right?
36:56You get your best spot, you want to explore the neighbourhood.
36:59So how do you do that?
37:00You need to come up with a solution that a small car fits in your motorhome.
37:05Clearly, if you look into the garage space, you might think,
37:08Hey, how will I fit the car here? It's just impossible.
37:11And look what happens.
37:13This is a bedroom floor patented by Dan Bal.
37:18By raising the bedroom floor, the garage space is expanded to accommodate a car.
37:26There you go. And this is a massive garage space.
37:42Let's press the green button. And here we go.
37:45The high spec garage can accommodate any car up to four meters long.
37:51Car is in. Garage there is closed. We are ready to rumble.
37:59We are ready to go anywhere we want around the world.
38:03Inside the vehicle itself, luxury living on the road is in evidence everywhere.
38:09The interiors have been specially crafted by the award-winning Italian design studio,
38:14Galezzi and Minotti, who are best known for their work on luxury yachts.
38:20We don't have sharp edges. We only have curved areas.
38:24Everything is polished to the perfection.
38:26We use a very special paint from Italy.
38:29And we paint every surface seven different layers.
38:33And it's so difficult. It took us almost six months to get it right.
38:37It was a nightmare. But once we get it right, we have this finish,
38:41which is absolutely outstanding.
38:45The upholstery is the work of the same team who make the interiors in Ferraris and Bentleys.
38:51And the latest technology has been employed to ensure life on the road is as comfortable as possible.
38:58Because the software, what actually runs the entire system, it turns, it converts the motorhome into a smart home.
39:06Everything is basically sensor measured and reacts to your needs all the time.
39:13The master bedroom stretches the entire width of the vehicle and features a king-sized bed, fitted wardrobes and an integrated TV.
39:25And the most luxurious, yet simple and functional technology ensures the owners are always in control of the mega motorhome.
39:34Right behind this door is basically the brain, the front end of the vehicle.
39:41Everything is integrated into this screen over here.
39:44It's very clean, very easy to use. It's really designed for any user.
39:49The main screen controls all the functionalities of the vehicle.
39:53And you can even manage the vehicle when you're away from it via a smart app.
40:03No motorhome leaves the Budapest HQ until it's been thoroughly road tested.
40:08This afternoon, one of the firm's co-owners, Gabor, is helping Attila to assess if the latest model is ready for shipping.
40:16We will never hand over a vehicle that we personally don't shine.
40:20Gabor and Attila need to test if the huge vehicle is as luxurious to drive as it is to live in.
40:27This is the highest sitting position you can drive in Europe. You have a feeling you are a king on the roads.
40:34Gabor also needs to test if the innovative 360-degree camera system on the vehicle is working perfectly.
40:42I'm really, really happy with this car. I will talk with the guys in the factory. They made an excellent job.
40:51This vehicle is ready for shipping. And the owner, like many of their high net worth clients, may opt for the company's VIP service.
41:01The concierge service was created for our clients to make sure that we offer them 360-degree service, 724.
41:10For an additional Β£20,000 a year, the motorhome team guarantee that there'll only ever be a phone call away.
41:18Whenever they want to have the vehicle delivered to a location, then we will deliver it so the client just can fly down with their private jet.
41:25They can enjoy their time. And whenever they're done, they give us a call and we go and we pick up the vehicle.
41:30But not everyone needs a concierge service, especially if you live in your motorhome 24-7.
41:42Like Michigan couple Hillary and Chris.
41:45We get bored really easily. I've never lived anywhere more than two years.
41:49This is like the perfect mix for us where we can still explore and try new things, but we don't have to move our stuff constantly.
41:56And the couple's radical lifestyle change has now become a social media phenomenon.
42:09About two years ago, we decided to start sharing our experiences of living and traveling full-time in a motorhome on social media.
42:17Today is finally the day. After four and a half years of RVing, we are taking our RV into Canada for the very first time.
42:25I posted an online tour of our new motorhome. It got about 400 million views worldwide.
42:32Now we have about 2.6 million followers across our social media channels and never in our wildest dreams did we ever think this was going to be a reality.
42:41But we were able to turn this into a full-time job doing content creation and sharing all about our journeys.
42:47Four years after selling their home and becoming permanent motorhomers, Hillary and Chris and their dog Axel
42:55Look at that, Axel recognizes where we're at. He's excited. He knows.
42:59Have just returned from a cross-country 5,000-mile road trip.
43:03We really just took it out, pushed it all through the Pacific Northwest and up into Canada and back into Minnesota and finally back into Michigan.
43:11One of the unique benefits of a life of luxury on four wheels is the ever-changing backdrop of some of America and Canada's most stunning scenery.
43:21From the awe-inspiring Monument Valley in Arizona to the breathtaking peaks of the Rockies.
43:29But if you're wealthy, you can also afford a permanent parking spot that is a cut above any other.
43:36So we own two lots at different motorhome resorts across the country.
43:40We own one in Southern California and we also own this one here in Northern Michigan.
43:45And we just chase the weather. So for us, it's always 75 degrees year-round, right? We're just in a different location.
43:52Look at the waterfall.
43:55It's always pretty to return here.
43:59Passside Grove in Michigan is a high-end resort created to cater exclusively to super wealthy motorhome residents.
44:09Basically, it's like living in a country club for motor coach owners.
44:15Some of the motorhomes can cost multi-millions and it's really just all about giving you kind of that home base in a sense to park your motor coach and have a place that really feels like yours and feels like home.
44:26This is definitely a luxury lifestyle and it's a very unique experience.
44:32At their Michigan base, the couple own land on which they've created a five-star living space.
44:39So we actually had this new pergola built and it is a beautiful pergola that covers the entire space.
44:46So we have a living area here with a sectional sofa, a large fire pit so we can sit around and stay cozy at night.
44:54And then we also hung an outdoor TV so that way we can spend almost all of our time outside and really never have to go inside.
45:00We do. We live out here. I mean, this is where we spend all of our time when we're not in the coach.
45:04Yeah. Living in an RV, your kitchen is typically a little bit smaller even though ours inside the coach is really nice.
45:10It's amazing to have this expanded space out here where we can cook, have friends over and just really enjoy a good time.
45:16It's my favorite spot.
45:18And at their plush resort, everyone has a luxury motor home.
45:22The RV community is very close knit and it's a lot of people that are very active, want to hang out, want to do things.
45:29We have more friends now living in a motor home than we ever did living in a house.
45:33And I mean, our social calendar is totally packed full now.
45:37It honestly does feel like we're living our dream.
45:39I'd say it's even better than living our dream because it's a dream I didn't even realize that I wanted until you started to live it.
45:45And this is amazing. Every day you wake up, it's not like being on vacation.
45:49It's just like your life is a vacation almost.
45:53For Hillary and Chris though, the call of the road is always strong.
45:58If we decide one day we want to pack up and leave and go take a weekend trip, we really easily can because the RV is here.
46:04We've already got all of our stuff in it.
46:06We just have to disconnect it, pull it out and we're off for a new weekend adventure.
46:19More streaming now, the world's most luxurious cruises whenever you want with some swanky superyachts next Monday at eight.
46:25Now, opulent ways to travel on a great Riviera rail trip.
46:28Sandy Toksvig is getting on board this Saturday from five past eight.
46:32Next tonight, isolation is anything but peaceful as dark truths rain down in summer water.
