Christopher Abbott is replacing Ryan Gosling in 'Wolf Man'. Abbott, who can currently be seen on the big screen in 'Poor Things', will star in the werewolf thriller from Blumhouse and Universal Pictures. The companies have set an October 25th, 2024 release date for the feature. Ryan Gosling had been on board to star in the film for the past three-plus years. Now, he's departing the project, but he will receive an executive producer credit.

00:38Like Gosling, C. in France has departed the project.
00:40Wolfman plot details are being kept under wraps,
00:43but the mysterious story is now focused on a man whose family is being terrorized by a lethal predator.
00:48Wolfman could turn out to be the most mainstream project yet for Abbott,
00:51who has made a name for himself starring in eclectic and unique indie films over the years.
00:55This year, Abbott also appeared opposite Tom Holland in Apple's The Crowded Room miniseries.
