00:22According to Deadline.com, CBS is in talks with How I Met Your Mother creators Carter

00:27Bays and Craig Thomas to bring a spin-off to the network, only it would offer a female

00:32spin on the original show.

00:35Audience say it with me, LEGENDARY.

00:37The project would center around a group of friends living in New York.

00:41It will also follow how one of the women in the group finds their future husband.

00:45Apparently they're even throwing the idea of calling the show How I Met Your Father.

00:50LEGEND, wait for it, DADDY, LEGEND DADDY.

00:55While none of the original stars will headline the series, the new characters might be introduced

01:00in the How I Met Your Mother season finale next year if the project gets the green light.

01:05To create more of a link to the original series, there are plans to have the new gang hanging
