Geraldine Viswanathan chats with THR at the 'Thunderbolts*' premiere in Los Angeles and describes what it was like working with comedy legends like Will Ferrell and on 'Thunderbolts*.' Plus she talks about loving to see fans' theories for the Marvel film.
00:00What you've been bringing has been so incredible to so many projects, and now I'm so excited to see it join my cinematic universe of, like, comic goodness.
00:07What's more intimidating, working with, like, a comic legend like Will Ferrell or working in the legendary MCU?
00:13Like, what feels like more pressure?
00:14Whoa, that's a great question.
00:16I feel like it's sort of, you know, double-edged sword here because I'm in the Marvel universe, but I'm also working with a comic legend as well.
00:23Different comic legends.
00:24Literally, I'm kind of just, like, taking them off the list.
00:28But I think, you know, I've never experienced this kind of, the fandom that comes with the Marvel universe, and that feels like, you know, a pressure, but also really exciting.
00:39Yeah.
00:40Yeah.
00:40Now, there's a big rumor about who your character is I don't want to know because I love watching movies as blindly as I can.
00:45I stopped watching trailers.
00:46I'm enjoying this whole journey.
00:47But what's it been like for you to play a character that has theories?
00:50Like, just the experience of being on the Internet, not what it actually is, but, like, has it been fun to be like, hee-hee-hee?
00:56Hee-hee-hee.
00:57I'm looking, I'm looking, and I'm loving.
01:01It's super fun.
01:02I mean, it's so cool to have, you know, this world of comic books to, like, draw from, and it's really, it's so unpredictable.
01:11Anything is possible in this universe.
01:12It's really, really fun.
01:14Anything you want to plug that you read that you liked?
01:16Any comic fans?
01:17Like, is there anything that you really enjoyed reading that you're like, more people should discover blank?
01:22Not to put you on the spot, but I always love when people like it.
01:24From comics?
01:24Yeah.
01:25I don't know.
01:26It's a deep cut.
01:26I just, I threw you under the bus there.
01:28I was like, maybe, you know, volume three of Bubble.
