00:20When Sanders joined Meyers for a chat on Thursday's Late Night on NBC,

00:24the host told the senator he was quote, one of the stars of the inauguration.

00:27Meyers asked him, were you aware that this photo immediately sort of became the meme of the day?

00:32Not at all. I was just sitting there trying to keep warm, trying to pay attention to what was

00:38going on. Social media users were quick to insert the image of the senator into popular scenes from

00:43movies, TV shows, and more photos, with stars such as Mark Hamill, Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington,

00:49and the official account of Schitt's Creek even joining in on the fun.
