The Hollywood Reporter rounded up some of Octavia Spencer’s most memorable roles.

00:152011's The Help saw Spencer play Minnie, a maid living and working in Jackson, Mississippi,
00:20during the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s.
00:22According to The Hollywood Reporter's review, Spencer's character, quote,
