00:00What have people been saying that's really got to you
00:03and that you haven't been able to just dismiss?
00:06Well, obviously, it started almost immediately,
00:10the conspiracies, you know, while we were over there in Tenerife
00:14before Jay was found, that he'd been caught up in this, that and the other.
00:19And, I mean, obviously, we were getting phone calls daily.
00:26You know, we were thinking all sorts.
00:29We'd been kidnapped and, I mean, they're saying that it was me
00:34that started the misinformation, but it wasn't really.
00:39But they'll just say it to keep their stories going, really.
00:44It's really hard, isn't it?
00:45Because in those days when he was missing,
00:47I remember us talking about it here every day on the programme,
00:51it was important to get messages out there that he's missing and his picture.
00:55And for you and the family, with that hope that maybe he could be found,
01:00the media at that point is on your side and social media too.
01:03And I guess with that comes this nasty side.
01:06And that is what ends up continuing.
01:08Yeah, yeah, I mean, like you say, to begin with, you know,
01:12spreading the awareness of, you know, when Jay was missing, yeah, it was great.
01:16It was, you know, it was getting out there.
01:19But then it just took a turn, you know,
01:24the dark side of social media then read its head.
01:29It's really hard.
