05:16I really enjoy my job, but I'd like a change.
05:19I'd like to move on and do something completely different.
05:21So it's time to do what we've always wanted, run a B&B.
05:26We're not looking for an easier life, because running a business is not an easier life at all.
05:31We just love the idea of having the challenge and doing it ourselves and not for other people.

06:15We had to work 15 solid years running the businesses that we did to raise the funds to be able to do what they could win.

06:50Each couple would take charge of a rental property in the French countryside, all within 30 minutes of each other.

07:09Every property has been stripped of bed linen and amenities.
07:13It's up to the hosts to add the finishing touches to turn them into the perfect B&B.
07:19Over the week, they'll welcome guests and be judged on their presentation, food, cleanliness, and, above all, their hosting skills.

08:19We have a few things up our sleeves that we want to try out.

40:35But I think if you were a little bit shyer or more withdrawn,
40:41it might have been a bit full on.
40:43But they were so warm and natural.

41:40So I had Nicola and Roy, who are both wonderful
41:43and just gave a really strong impression.

41:53In terms of the setup of the house,
41:55I found that the house was really clean.
41:57On closer inspection, I did find a couple minor lapses,
42:00some dust on top of the rain shower head, for instance,
42:02and a couple of watermarks on the chrome.
42:05In the bathroom, there were a couple of missing items as well,
42:08some quite important ones, so there wasn't any bin.
42:11In terms of the ease of use, there are similar elements.
42:14There's room for improvement.
42:16But they really complemented each other in there.
42:18I think one of their strengths is going to be, you know,
42:21the teamwork aspect.
