Misuse of electric items is as common as needing tea in the morning. Someone is running the whole house on one extension, while someone else pulls the mobile charger out of the socket like it’s their enemy. Some people even use a hair dryer near water as if they have some kind of waterproof superpower.
If the ceiling fan starts making noise, we don’t fix it, we just pray it keeps running. When sparks come out of a socket, we think the house is celebrating something. And the best part is taping a damaged plug and believing it’s “perfectly fine” now, as if tape has magic powers.
In short, by misusing electric items, we confuse electricity itself about what we are trying to do. So it’s better to keep the jokes on one side and safety on the other. Otherwise the laughs will be funny, but the bills, shocks and damage will be very serious
