Senator Pauline Hanson was suspended from the senate on November 24, 2025 after she walked in wearing a burka, repeating a stunt she pulled in 2017. The leader of the One Nation Party was denied leave to table a bill to have burkas banned in Australia.

01:24Senator Hanson has gone back and spun this wheel of racist hate
01:30and decided to again bring back the ban, the burqa bill,
01:35to again pour toxic racism and Islamophobia onto Muslims.
01:41The parliament should not have a bar of it.
