00:00When Kim Kardashian officially filed for divorce from Kanye West back in early 2021,

00:05we knew there'd be a little drama. But with everything that's been going on recently,

00:10this whole divorce process is just kind of a mess now.

00:13People just love me so much. I'm a hard person to be mad at.

00:16Kanye taking legal action

00:18In a recent tell-all interview from January of this year, Kanye sat down with Jason Lee

00:23of Hollywood Unlocked and spilled a ton of info on his co-parenting situation with Kim.

00:28And according to Ye, it's not going too well. He mentioned that he nearly missed his daughter

00:33Chicago's birthday party and that if Travis Scott hadn't given him the party info,

00:37he wouldn't have been able to be there, even though it was assumed he was holding

00:41his own party for Chicago instead. He told Jason,

00:44"'I'm gonna tell you straight up, don't play with my kids, and it's going to be all legal.'"

00:48"'Don't play with my kids. Don't play with my kids.'"

00:51But Kim still seemed unbothered by his words. In what many are assuming was a cryptic response,

00:56she posted a quote to her IG story that read,

00:59"'What if I fail?'

01:00"'Oh, my darling, what if you fly?'

01:02"'I'm a loser.'"

01:03"'No, Kanye here.'"

01:05Aside from the birthday party drama, Ye also claimed that he wasn't even allowed inside the house.

01:10When he went to drop his kids off at home from school, he mentioned that North asked him to

01:14come upstairs, but security wouldn't let him. But a source close to Kim told The Sun that he knew he,

01:20and anyone else for that matter, wasn't allowed to just walk in without permission,

01:24since he left and signed the house over to Kim after she paid for it.

01:28The source also mentioned that Kim had hired a new security team,

01:32so no one was purposefully keeping Kanye outside anyway.

01:36Pete Davidson in the house

01:37Even though Kanye said he wasn't allowed in the house, he mentioned that Kim's new man,

01:42Pete Davidson, was already in the house. As you can expect, sources close to Kim curved that

01:47one pretty quickly. The source told E! News,

01:49Pete has never been to the house. He has never met the kids. Kim has set boundaries.

01:53Kanye can't just come over unannounced, and that's what happened. Kim herself has been quiet

01:58on revealing her side of the story. But it seems that the drama keeps adding up with every claim

02:03Kanye's made.

02:05Begging for Kim and then not

02:07It's clear that this divorce is heavily affecting Kanye more than he lets on at times,

02:12but his actions can still be confusing. Last year, during his and Drake's Free Larry

02:16Hoover concert, he publicly asked Kim to run back to him in one of his songs,

02:21even though he'd already been flaunting his outings with other women.

02:24He's now dating actress Julia Fox, and she's even written about their date nights, sparing no details.

02:31Diss track

02:32We already assumed that Kanye wasn't too pleased about Kim's relationship with Pete Davidson,

02:37but he really confirmed it when he made a diss track dedicated to him. In January,

02:41he released the song My Life Was Never Easy, and one of the lines reads,

02:45"'God saved me from that crash just so I can beat Pete Davidson's…"

02:49Well, you get the picture.

02:51Neither Kim nor Pete seemed to be too bothered by the song,

02:54which may have just fueled Ye even more because later that month,

02:57he allegedly started spreading rumors that Pete was gay and had a life-threatening STD.

03:03Seriously, we understand he's probably going through it, but this is just a lot.

03:07The second tape

03:09By now, we would've thought that anything involving the infamous adult tape that Kim

03:13made with Ray J was old news. And it was. That is, until Kanye mentioned in the Hollywood

03:18Unlocked interview that there was a second tape that likely would've been published had he not

03:23swooped in to save the day, of course. Both Kanye and Ray J's former manager claimed the tape did,

03:28in fact, exist. But Kim, sources close to Kim, and even Ray J himself have all denied the second

03:34tape ever existed. So, there's that. Antagonizing Kanye

03:39Ye also mentioned in the interview that there were some issues he had with the way Kim was

03:43running things, specifically when it came to Kim's security and his daughter North being on social

03:48media. We're sure there may be more to this story, and we can totally empathize with someone not wanting

03:53their kid on social media without their permission. But claiming that Kim is using the kids to antagonize

03:59him is a pretty big claim. And it's probably something that should've been aired out privately.

04:04New neighbors

04:05Some people may think this is the top-tier level of petty, and others may think this is just

04:10outright hilarious. But it has been confirmed that right in the midst of their divorce,

04:15Kanye did, in fact, buy a house directly across the street from Kim's house. In the recent interview,

04:20Ye mentions that he did so to stay close to his kids. But seeing as how it's been reported that he

04:25paid over $420,000 more than the asking price for that house, and that he could've stayed close to

04:31his kids without living right across the street, we're not too sure about that.

04:35Kim probably isn't too pleased with that one, though.

04:41The SNL kiss

04:43In October of 2021, before Kim and Pete Davidson were rumored to be dating,

04:47Kim hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live. For one skit, she and Pete kissed,

04:52and Kanye, who was sitting right there in attendance, was not happy about it. He called

04:56Kim out in the Hollywood Unlocked interview, saying,

04:59"'How are you going to bring me to SNL and then kiss the dude you're dating right in front of me

05:04and everybody's like, oh, that's cool?' We can understand the frustration of witnessing the kiss,

05:08but if Kanye's allowed to move on, why can't Kim?'

05:11Feeling used

05:13Eventually, in the interview, Jason asked Ye if he felt like he'd been used, and he responded with,

05:18"'Maybe so. I'm sitting here with this Balenciaga jacket on right now, so it's okay.'"

05:22And honestly, we don't actually know Kim or Kanye, so we have no idea if there's any truth to that,

05:28nor can we invalidate his feelings. But, seeing as how he and Kim were already incredibly successful

05:34when they started dating, and it doesn't seem like there's any real reason for her to use him,

05:39we can only take that with a grain of salt. At this point, there's literally no telling what's

05:43bound to come next where this divorce is concerned. All we can do now is hope for the best for the

05:48sake of the kids. And hopefully, Kim and Kanye will both be able to find peace when things settle down,

05:54if they ever do.
