00:04A source has exclusively revealed to Hollywood Life that when Kim was in Australia,

00:08as much as they had a great time, they also had some very deep talks

00:11that led them to ultimately decide to break up.

00:14There were a lot of things stacked against them.

00:16Kanye is not the reason they broke up, but his antics certainly did not help.

00:21Recall that the SNL alum is currently filming a movie in Australia,

00:24and that definitely put a strain on their relationship.

00:26The source added that Pete wanted Kim to stay in Australia with him for an extended amount of time,

00:31and she just isn't at a place in her life where she can do that.

00:34And the thing is, Pete is only getting busier, so it's not like this issue is ever going to go away.

00:39The source did note that they are still very much attracted to each other and have a strong connection.

00:44While another source spoke about Pete wanting kids, and although Kim is open to having more,

00:49she doesn't want more right now.

00:50So it's not like these two ended on bad terms, and who knows?

00:54Maybe we'll see them back together at some point.
