00:05On Saturday, Gianna Floyd shared a post on Instagram thanking the actress and singer,
00:10revealing that Streisand had gifted her with Disney stock, writing,
00:13The accompanying photo showed her along with a letter and certificate she had received from
00:21Streisand, though it's unclear how many shares were involved. Streisand's gift comes on the
00:26heels of previous reports that Kanye West had created a 529 college savings plan to cover
00:30tuition for Gianna in full. In addition, Texas Southern University announced last week that
00:35its Board of Regents and the TSU Foundation Board had approved a fund to provide a full scholarship
00:40for Gianna if she wanted to attend the university. Elsewhere, a GoFundMe account has raised more than
00:45$2.1 million. Floyd's father, George Floyd, was killed on May 25th by Minnesota police when police
00:51officer Derek Chauvin pressed a knee into his neck as Floyd pleaded for air. Following the incident,
00:56which was caught on video, Chauvin and three other officers at the scene were fired and charged.
