00:00Okay, Parvati, I'm so sad that you're out, but it was so fun watching you play for many episodes. You kind of were the cat with nine lives on this show.
00:08Yes, I'm shocked I lasted as long as I lasted because the very beginning, before I was even a traitor, Larsa was calling me out. So it was a wild ride from day one.
00:20Take me back to the night that you ultimately get banished. Going into that banishment, did you think you had a chance of saying, because it seemed like it was between you and Phaedra, did you think you could say?
00:30I looked at Phaedra, I mouthed to her in the castle. I was like, they're making us go against each other. And it was sad. It was so sad for us because I think neither of us ever really wanted to do that.
00:43Once I realized that Phaedra was playing really loyal to the traitors, I was like, oh, I'm not going to go after her. She's keeping me safe. So it was super sad. I thought, yeah, I was like, maybe there's a chance.
00:59Because I had been talking, like my strategy was, if they think that I'm a traitor, then the only real chance I have to stick around is to work with people who are thinking strategically, like, we want to get to the end with a traitor that we know, so that we can banish them at the end.
01:15Because the game is set up like that. Once you know someone's a traitor, that's good news for you if you think that traitor will keep you safe and not murder you.
01:24So I was like having those conversations, and I sort of like dropped that in with John at one point.
01:31But I think they were all just like so caught up in their self-righteous, I'm going to be the hero.
01:37Really? Yeah.
01:39Much more complicated than just like getting the traitors, you know, for the faithfuls. There's a lot more strategy that goes into it, for sure.
01:46If they're playing with that strategy, but not a lot. They weren't.
01:50Yeah.
01:51Trishel was, but not the other one. Like, not all of them.
01:53Yeah, we saw in the last episode that Sandra kind of corralled this group to stick together and to eliminate Peter's group.
02:01Why didn't that play out when it came to this week's episode?
02:04I think there was enough time in between, you know?
02:08I think what, like, it's like you got to, when the moment is upon you, that's when the plan will work.
02:13It's similar with Survivor, but in these kind of games, people's minds are racing, and there's so many different elements at play and factors happening.
02:22And I think Trishel had this idea that she's like, I'm going to get, like, we got to get Phaedra.
02:27If Parv's a traitor, then at least, like, because Trishel and I had, like, a good relationship.
02:32So I think she knew that I would not murder her.
02:35I would keep her safe.
02:36So she wanted to get Phaedra instead.
02:38And then it was like, okay, well, if Kate's turning, if MJ's not going to, because MJ was like, I'm voting for you.
02:45Like, she said that to me.
02:47So I was like, shoot.
02:49Well, then I can't try to get Peter.
02:51He's the only vote.
02:52I have his vote now to try to get Phaedra.
02:55So things just, like, move and change really quickly in those kind of dynamic environments.
03:01Yeah.
03:02How detrimental was it to your game to have that Bravo click together?
03:05Because once it came down to you or Phaedra, they all had Phaedra's back.
03:09Yeah, it was hard.
03:11That's why I was trying to break up the Bravos in the beginning.
03:14Because Larsa would have had Phaedra's back, too.
03:16They all had each other's backs.
03:18Tamara would have, too.
03:20Yeah.
03:20So that was, like, my goal with getting a couple of the housewives out of the house, because they do have a very tight bond.
03:31I think they, like, recognize something in each other, and they have a camaraderie, and they just have a respect for each other and what they have to go through.
03:39So they're like, okay, well, you and I, we're together.
03:42Like, you are me.
03:43So I'm going to keep you safe, and you're going to keep me safe.
03:45And I think it was smart of them.
03:47Yeah.
03:48And there's so many of them.
03:49It's like, Kate comes in.
03:50They have another number with Larsa.
03:53There were so many of them.
03:54Yes.
03:55And when Kate came in, I was like, she had already known.
03:58She had already knew who the cast was, because the cast had been announced before she got into the game.
04:04So she Googled all of us, and she comes in.
04:06The first thing she says to me is, oh, you're the one who they call the Black Widow, and you're the one who convinced that guy to give up his immunity necklace, and then you voted him out.
04:15And you're a yoga teacher.
04:17She knew all of this stuff about me, and she was telling everyone.
04:20She's like, get her.
04:22Get her out.
04:23Yeah, that's not really fair, in my opinion.
04:24But that's a different conversation.
04:26Yeah.
04:26The move to try to kill Bergie when he had the shield, I mean, was that just disastrous?
04:33That killed you?
04:34Yeah.
04:36That was the end of my game.
04:38It was.
04:38It really was.
04:39That was it.
04:39Like, and I just, looking back, I'm like, I wish I would have fought harder, like, stood my ground harder on that, and been like, you guys, it doesn't make any sense.
04:50Like, it's stupid of us to do this.
04:52Let's just kill John, who everyone thinks is a faithful.
04:54It's not going to make any waves.
04:55But Dan was so scared, and he's like, he just was playing scared, and I had already gotten Atkin, and then Phaedra had gotten Tamra, so it was sort of Dan's turn to get someone.
05:11And I was like, fine.
05:12I mean, I wish I would have fought harder.
05:16You killed John, right?
05:17The whole game changes right there.
05:19Yes.
05:20We would have just killed John.
05:22Beat it.
05:24Yeah, but.
05:25We wouldn't have made any waves, but at least it would have been, like, some heat off of us, because Peter's little plan, Peter would have been like, well, I guess it's not them, or at least he would have been confused.
05:35Yeah.
05:35You know?
05:36Yeah, definitely.
05:37Did you have an idea of who you wanted to be in the endgame with?
05:40I mean, I know you had such a big target on your back.
05:42You probably didn't have the liberty to choose who you wanted to be there with, but did you have an idea of who you wanted to stick around?
05:51I, like, Trishel and I had a pretty good connection, and I felt like I would have kept her around to the end, because she was so, like, terrified the whole time.
06:02And, like, they just called her frantic.
06:04I was like, yeah, she was acting, like, really frantic and very faithfully.
06:07But if, I don't know, because they, like, it's really hard to say, because I was playing defense the entire game, and I didn't really have an opportunity to be like, all right, this is my, this would be my path to the endgame.
06:22I was playing moment by moment, just trying to get through breakfast, just trying to get through the banishment roundtable, just, like, holding on for the turret, because the turret was my safe space.
06:33Yeah.
06:33And I loved it, and I could actually, like, let myself express myself and, like, have some fun in there.
06:40But otherwise, in the castle, I was just like, like, what do I do?
06:46It was, like, two different experiences, kind of.
06:49Yeah.
06:49I never felt safe in the castle, but in the turret, it was like, oh, I could be more myself.
06:55Yeah.
06:56You're faced off with Phaedra when she says, you know, don't do that, Parvati, and then when she says that nobody likes you.
07:01Was that as dramatic as it was we saw in person?
07:04The edit, like, kind of freezes my face and, like, holds still.
07:12That didn't, I mean, that pause wasn't as long, right?
07:15But I was surprised.
07:17I was like, oh, she's really, I think she's really mad, because Phaedra's a really good actor.
07:23She's like, I'm not an actor.
07:24I'm like, yeah, we all know you're an actor, and you're really good at it.
07:28I was like, own that.
07:29But she was in character the entire time, even in the turret, so I couldn't break her.
07:36And it was dramatic.
07:39Dan was so freaked out and stunned.
07:42And I was just like, it was a back and forth between Phaedra and I for maybe, like, a few minutes.
07:48Yeah.
07:48And I was like, okay, I gotta, like, let her know that she's safe.
07:54Like, I have to just field this attack and not react to it and diffuse this.
08:01I'm very good at that anyways.
08:02It's, like, kind of water off my back.
08:04She can say nobody likes me, but it's just, that's just how she, that's just how she handles conflict, is, like, personal attacks.
08:13And I'm like, oh, I know people like that.
08:16So, whatever.
08:17Yeah, and you guys were able to move past it and get back on the phone, so it's kind of all working out.
08:21Yeah, I don't hold it against her.
08:23She didn't hold it against me, and we moved forward.
08:25I think that's sort of the housewife's way.
08:30Yeah, yeah, they have to move on.
08:31That's how the show works.
08:33If you had survived and Phaedra was knocked out, who would you have recruited?
08:36We see her choosing Kate at the end of this episode.
08:39Who would have your pick been?
08:41Look, I told Phaedra to recruit Kate.
08:43I would have recruited Kate.
08:44I was like, we were in the turret, and I was like, if we get another chance to recruit
08:48someone, it has to be Kate.
08:50Because she came in last.
08:52You can create suspicion around her, even if there isn't any right now.
08:58Because, and she has been standing up for Phaedra so much at the round table.
09:02It was really smart of Phaedra to recruit Kate.
09:04I would have done the same.
09:05Yeah, good move.
09:06And as we wrap up here, my last question, just what are your thoughts on Sandra's gameplay?
09:11I mean, obviously, you guys have so much history.
09:12What do you think about how she's playing this game compared to her multiple stints on Survivor?
09:16She's doing the exact same thing that she always does.
09:19Anyone but me.
09:20Anybody but me.
09:21Yeah.
09:22And she's being very low-key.
09:25She had some good relationships with, like, between the different factions.
09:31So, she's playing her same Survivor game.
09:36Yeah.
09:36And she's surviving.
09:37That's Sandra.
09:38Zebra doesn't change, right?
09:40No, she doesn't.
09:41She holds.
09:41But I will say, though, she has been showing up for the challenges.
09:46She won a shield.
09:47That's big for Sandra.
09:48She won a shield.
09:49She beat me and John.
09:50So, I think that's really cool.
09:52And Sandra's, she's making me laugh in her interviews in this show.
09:58It was nice to see you guys be on good terms.
10:01Or at least it seemed that way.
10:02I mean, you guys are, right?
10:03Yeah, we're good.
10:04Yeah.
10:04It's amazing.
10:05All right.
10:05Well, thank you so much.
10:06It was so fun watching you play this season.
10:08And you're going to be missed on these episodes.
