00:00Melissa has been talking about this damn wicked movie for, well, since last Thanksgiving.

00:06Yeah, since part one ended.

00:08She watched part one way too many times.

00:11I did.

00:12Way too many times.

00:14Cried every time at every stupid song.

00:16Made me, I saw it.

00:18I didn't enjoy it as much as you, but I think I ended up enjoying it.

00:21I wouldn't have expected you to.

00:22I think I enjoyed it less because of how much you loved it and talked about it.

00:25Yes.

00:26So now part two is finally here.

00:28Melissa has been planning to go see it before it came out.

00:32Yes.

00:34She's going to drag her friend Jamie along, her gay boyfriend Jamie.

00:37He wanted to see it.

00:38He didn't want to see it as much as me, but he wanted to see it for sure.

00:44And he said he had a lot to say about seeing it with me, but he can't call in right now

00:48because he's just woke up and he's not really fully awake yet.

00:52I'm sure parts of what he wanted to say was, she's crying again.

01:01You'll be very surprised to hear.

01:03I didn't start crying until maybe three quarters of the way through.

01:10Does that mean you didn't enjoy the first half of the movie?

01:13It doesn't mean that.

01:13What I will say, and I'm going to say this with no spoilers, because there's people out

01:18there, believe it or not, that have not seen the musical and don't know the story.

01:22I saw the musical last year for the first time, and I still didn't remember a good chunk

01:26of the story.

01:28A lot of people are comparing it to the first movie and trying to say which one's better

01:32and all this.

01:33You can't compare this movie to the first movie.

01:35You just can't.

01:36They are two completely different vibes.

01:39How are they different?

01:40They were all filmed at the same time.

01:42They just basically cut it in half.

01:44Correct.

01:44The first movie is all fluff, fun, positivity, laughter, dancing.

01:52I listen to that soundtrack in my car all the time.

01:55It makes me happy.

01:56The second movie is not like that.

01:59It tells the story more, which I like, and it is darker and deeper.

02:07It goes deeper into all the characters.
