00:06We now turn to our correspondent Hafiz Marzouki for more.
00:10The day begins with an official welcoming ceremony for Prime Minister Dato' Sri Anwar Ibrahim
00:16at the State House, which is the official residence for the Kenyan President William Ruto.
00:23And after the official welcoming ceremony, both leaders had a bilateral meeting
00:29and shortly after that, hold together a joint press conference
00:33where Malaysia and Kenya basically announced their intention
00:37to upgrade their bilateral relations to strategic cooperation.
00:42What does this entail is basically they are moving forward in cooperation in all sectors,
00:48including investment, economy, trade, etc.
00:51And among other things, also announced during this press conference

01:16And of course, just sharing a bit since this is practically the end of his official visit here
01:22in Kenya as well as the continent of Africa.
01:26It's been a fruitful trip where he visited Ethiopia as well as Johannesburg before this,
01:33all in the name of fostering greater cooperation between Malaysia as well as the continent of Africa.
01:40As we all know, it has been widely reported that Africa will be the future engine of growth
01:44with a high, rapid growth, especially in terms of economy.
