00:01So here's to your good health. To your average Dubliner, every pub is a landmark. We navigate
00:07our city by its pubs. You see, the Dublin pub is unique. It's at the very heart of the
00:13community. It's the hub of all our social, cultural and leisure activities. It's where
00:18we go to meet old friends, or make new ones, or just to get away from it all and enjoy
00:22the entertainment and what we call the crack. Today, not only do we export Guinness, Irish
00:29whisky and liqueurs all over the world, but we also export our pubs. And if you were
00:34to drop into your local Irish pub tonight, anywhere from Parliament Street to Peake
00:39Hill, the chances are, you'd hear this.
00:41As the light declines, I'll remember Dublin city, in the rare old times. My name, it's
00:56John Towns.
