00:00The prolonged downpour in Kuala Lumpur has triggered yet another slope collapse in Sepute,
00:07this time along Lorongjugradalam, about four kilometers from the first landslide in Taman
00:12United. A 10-meter high slope next to Block D of the Sri Lempah Flats gave way at around 4pm on
00:19Monday, damaging a parked car. Firefighters from the Sri Petaling Fire and Rescue Station
00:25are currently on site monitoring the situation. However, the Fire and Rescue Department has not
00:32issued an official statement at the time of reporting. This second incident comes just hours
00:38after more than 100 residents from two apartment blocks in Taman United, Sepute, were ordered to
00:44evacuate following a separate landslide in the area. Authorities continue to monitor both locations
00:51amid ongoing heavy rainfall.
