00:00Bryce Dallas Howard is setting the record straight on her Jurassic World salary.

00:10The actress who starred opposite Chris Pratt in the trilogy that wrapped up this summer with Jurassic World Dominion
00:15disputed a 2018 report that stated she was paid $2 million less than Pratt for Fallen Kingdom.
00:22Howard opened up about it all saying that her pay was actually so much less than what was printed.
00:27During an interview with Insider, she noted the reports were so interesting because I was paid so much less than the reports even said.
00:34So much less. When I started negotiating for Jurassic, it was 2014 and it was a different world and I was at a great disadvantage.
00:42And unfortunately, you have to sign up for three movies and so your deals are set.
00:46However, she praised Pratt for making sure that she got equal pay on other franchise opportunities,
00:51such as voicing the video games and theme park attractions.
00:54Whenever there was an opportunity to move the needle on stuff that hadn't been already negotiated,
00:59like a game or a ride, he literally told me,
01:02you guys don't even have to do anything.
01:04I'm going to do all the negotiating.
01:06We're going to be paid the same.
01:07And you don't have to think about this, Bryce.
01:09Howard continued,
01:10I love him so much for doing that.
01:12I really do because I've been paid more for those kinds of things than I ever was for the movie.
01:17Though Howard didn't specify what she was paid,
01:19the initial report suggested her fee was $8 million compared to Pratt's $10 million.
01:24Pratt joined the Jurassic franchise after having starred in Marvel's blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy.
01:30The actress said she and Pratt openly discussed the pay gap and he committed to making it right.
