00:38Then there's soldiers on horseback with whips chasing another woman, then boom, our first
00:43glimpse at Monáe's character, successful present day author Veronica Henley in 1800s
00:48garb with a look that feels as deep as it does petrified.
00:53The trailer continues flashing between 1800 scenes and present day, getting spookier
00:57by the second.
00:58Before we get back to that little girl again, shhhh, shhhh, ooh, spooky.
