00:00The Yeezy designer has been dropped by Adidas for his controversial public statements and anti-Semitic remarks after over nine years of collaborating with the brand.
00:08The sportswear brand released a press release with the following statement saying, quote,
00:12Adidas does not tolerate anti-Semitism and any other sort of hate speech.
00:17Ye's recent comments and actions have been unacceptable and hateful and dangerous,
00:21and they violate the company's values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.
00:26Adidas then confirmed it would be terminating its relationship with the rapper immediately,
00:31ending all production of Yeezy's products and stopping all payments to Kanye with immediate effect.
00:36In addition to Kanye's hateful remarks, the rapper has also been going at the company and Gap for a while now with various social media attacks.
