00:00Harry and Meghan bonded over their trauma and heartbreak.
00:04Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's numerous scandals might have brought them closer.
00:08Since leaving the royal fold, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's inner circle has undergone
00:13drastic changes. There have been times in their marriage where it's been Meghan and Harry against
00:18the world, Duncan Larcombe told The Mirror. A clear theme from when they first met in the
00:24very beginning has been how protective Harry is of Meghan. He's a very loyal husband,
00:29much more so than most, because Meghan gets an awful lot of negative publicity,
00:33especially online. We've seen Harry supporting her in court cases and also speaking out against those
00:39people that have wronged Meghan, which in his mind has included the Princess of Wales, Catherine,
00:45Duncan Larcombe continued, referring to Harry writing about Kate and Meghan's feud and spare.
00:50There's also been a lot of heartbreak in their marriage, but their similar past experiences
00:55and traumas are what holds them together and makes them stronger. Despite Prince Harry and Meghan
01:00Markle having different upbringings, they were able to relate over a variety of experiences.
01:06Neither of them had an ideal upbringing by any stretch of the imagination. Both of their parents'
01:11marriages ended in divorce. And of course, Harry's mom, Princess Diana, died shortly after that.
01:15Duncan Larcombe said,
01:17There's trauma and heartbreak there for both of them, and that has bonded them. Harry,
01:22by his own admission, is a damaged person, and he has had struggles. It's hardly a surprise given
01:28his extraordinary upbringing and his profile of being the partying prince. Duncan Larcombe continued,
01:34A lot has happened in Harry's life that Meghan can feel sorry for,
01:37and therefore feel like she wants to protect him and look after him too.
