Walt Disney Animation's 'Frozen 2' is expected to melt hearts at the struggling November box office with a strong domestic debut of $100 million-plus this weekend.

00:10box office. The sequel to the 2013 box office hit about the adventures of royal
00:14sisters Queen Elsa and Princess Anna alongside their fearless friends is tracking
00:18to make a strong domestic debut of $100 million plus this weekend. Frozen 2
00:23finds Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel reprising their beloved roles as Anna and
00:27Elsa as the original gang including Jonathan Groff's Kristoff and Josh Gad as the
00:32lovable snowman Olaf setting out on a new journey that goes beyond their homeland of
00:36Arendelle and this time Anna will be joining Elsa on the adventure. The first Frozen
00:41which opened domestically before Thanksgiving in 2013 set a holiday record with a
00:45five-day haul of $93 million including $67 million for the three-day weekend. It went
00:51on to earn an astounding $1.28 billion at the global box office to become the top
00:56grossing animated film of all time. Now if Frozen 2's box office predictions hold up
01:01the sequel could be the first animated pick outside of summer to hit the century
01:05mark in its opening. The film which currently boasts a Rotten Tomatoes score of
01:0878 percent is also debuting in most major markets overseas this weekend and should
01:13have no trouble skating past $220 million in its launch. Elsewhere at the box office
01:18new offering A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood starring Tom Hanks as the late
01:22Fred Rogers will be hoping to win over adults. Sony's biographical drama is tracking
01:26to open in the $15 million range and if the studio gets their Christmas wish the
01:31film which traces the real-life friendship between Rogers and journalist Lloyd
01:35Vogel played by Matthew Rhys will have long legs throughout the holidays and award season.
01:39The weekend's third new title is 21 Bridges. The cop thriller starring Chadwick Boseman is
01:44tracking to debut in the $10 million to $14 million range domestically. The film also stars
01:49Taylor Kitsch, Sienna Miller, Keith David and J.K. Simmons among others.
