ABC's Emmy-winning comedy returns Wednesday with its supersized sophomore season.

00:07School is back in session for Abbott Elementary.

00:10Here are three things you can expect from the Emmy-winning ABC comedy's second season.

00:15First, while season one mostly focused on the day-to-day happenings at Willard R. Abbott Elementary School,

00:20season two will expand the show's world.

00:22Co-showrunner Patrick Schumacher told The Hollywood Reporter's TV's Top 5 podcast,

00:27We're going to start to explore more of the personal lives of these characters outside of the school.

00:32Speaking of personal lives, when it comes to Janine and Gregory, will they or won't they?

00:36When THR asked Tyler James Williams at the Emmys if the pair could finally explore a romantic relationship in season two,

00:43here's what he said.

00:44We could. I mean, I was just telling somebody else recently,

00:46the only person who knows the will-they-won't-they of it all is Quinta.

00:50She's not told any of us how this is gonna go.

00:54So I'm taking it episode by episode like everybody else.

00:57We could, but so far in what we're shooting, it's still kind of, we're not sure.

01:02According to co-creator and star Quinta Brunson,

01:05I definitely would say tune in because I am excited about it.

01:08As for the fans who ship the two characters, aka would like to see them in a relationship,

01:13Williams also threw out some ideas for their ship name.

01:15Graneen? Like Graneen? Or...

01:19Jaggery?

01:20Jaggery. I mean, it sounds shippy. Yeah, jaggery. I don't know, man. I like both.

01:27And finally, you can expect a much bigger season.

01:31While season one consisted of 13 episodes, ABC has ordered a full 22-episode season for the sophomore run.

01:37When asked about her reaction to first seeing scripts for season two, Emmy winner Cheryl Lee Ralph told THR this.

01:43I think we're probably one of the few shows on TV where my reaction doesn't matter so much as the network's reaction is,

01:50just go ahead, do more, do more. You're fine. Just carry on. I love that.
