00:25Now, there has also been speculation if the Christopher Nolan film will stick to its
00:30original release date of July 17th. The pick has been the only summer tentpole not to shift dates
00:36amid the coronavirus pandemic. And though the new trailer for the film did not include a release
00:40date, the film's Twitter page as well as the YouTube page hosting the trailer now includes the
00:45July 17th date. Nolan, who has been a strong advocate for a theatrical experience, has also
00:50pushed to keep the July 17th date. Warner Bros. dropped the first trailer for Tenet back in
00:55December, but in the five months since, the marketing for the movie had gone all but dark
00:59as the world adjusted to the pandemic, but now came back to life with a surprise TV spot
01:04on Wednesday, followed by Thursday's trailer. The new film stars John David Washington, Robert
01:08Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Kenneth Branagh, Michael Caine, and more.
