Travis Kelce is revealing what he's learned about putting on a concert from his girlfriend Taylor Swift ahead of his second annual Kelce Jam music festival. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about bringing back the fest for a second year in a row.

00:20Festival. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about bringing back the

00:24Fest for the second year in a row. Doing Kelsey Jam last year, having 20,000 going out to Azura Ampletheater

00:32to celebrate our Super Bowl win and just to have a fun music and food fest. It was such a blast that I had

00:40to do it again this year. So this is the official launch that we're going to be back at the same

00:46Ampletheater in KC May 18th. So excited. I wanted to keep it fresh and keep it new. So this year we

00:54asked Lil Wayne Diplo and 2 Chainz to come out and perform and of course we still got DJ Irie and

01:00my guy DJ Evie jumping it off. The hometown kid got to show the hometown love but it's going to be so

01:06much fun and I cannot wait to get back out and celebrate with KC man. It's just a blast every

01:11single time we can get together to celebrate this back to back. Since last year's Kelsey Jam,

01:17the NFL Pro started dating superstar musician Taylor Swift. When asked what he's learned from Swift

01:21about hosting a major live music event, Kelsey said this. Don't try and be Taylor. That's what

01:26I learned. Yeah, that's she's on a whole nother stratosphere. She's the best of what she does for

01:31a reason. It's because she's so articulate and just very dialed into every single thing that she

01:37does. And that's the beauty of it. I'd be silly if I ever tried to take anything from what she does

01:44other than, you know, just enjoy the people that show up. You know, I think that's one thing I could

01:50probably take away is she really, you know, relates to the to the people she's performing

01:55in front of. And so I'll take that. Last year, Kelsey joined Machine Gun Kelly on stage at the

02:00festival. So is there any chance he might perform again this year? I don't know about performing.

02:05I might leave that up to the to the professionals, you know, but you'll see me up there with the mic

02:10having some fun and trying to keep the crowd hype and everybody, you know, excited for the next act.

02:16But yeah, I can't help myself, man. Once I got a mic in my hand, you never know what I'll do.

02:22While it remains to be seen if Kelsey will perform at the fest, the football star has spoken openly

02:26about his entertainment industry aspirations, saying he'd love to do more scripted comedy

02:30after hosting Saturday Night Live. He gave fans this update on his Hollywood ventures.

02:35I'm out here in L.A. trying to get more comfortable in the entertainment world before we start back up with

02:41this football thing, knowing that that's that's my main focus in my life. And it will always be that

02:46until I until I'm done playing. But I'm definitely still dabbling in the descriptive world, the

02:52entertainment world. And we'll just see. We'll see where that road takes me. I'm extremely excited.

02:57But at the same time, I know I'm a bit of an amateur in that world. So I definitely got to, you know,

03:02get comfortable and kind of put my own creativity on it.

03:06Kelsey Jam, presented by Jim Beam, will take over Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday, May 18th.
