00:00Nicole, live from the CMAs with my birthday twin, Drew Baldrige.
00:08Hey.
00:09Shout out to all my July 29ers.
00:11Who knows how many there are.
00:13I know, but now we're all part of the club.
00:15I love it.
00:16I love it.
00:17It was so funny, when you came to the station many moons ago, and I was looking you up,
00:21I'm like, huh, July 29.
00:22Same birthday.
00:23Yeah, and every time I see you, I'm like, there's my birthday twin.
00:25But I was teasing you, because you have your own camera guy now.
00:28That's fancy, ain't it?
00:29And I was like, nothing says a Leo like your own camera guy.
00:32Hey, we gotta have, this guy runs my life right now with all my social posts and everything.
00:36I love it.
00:37Congratulations, by the way.
00:38Oh, thank you.
00:39I mean, you're just, obviously, you've had so much success with your songs, but now you're
00:42like, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
00:45Oh my goodness.
00:46Ain't that crazy?
00:47What was that call like?
00:48Oh my goodness.
00:49Well, it was a Friday.
00:50Okay.
00:51I remember all this.
00:52Okay, good.
00:53Give it to, yeah.
00:54I always wanted to know how this works.
00:55So we were out on tour this summer with Bailey Zimmerman.
00:56Yeah.
00:57It was an amazing tour, and we got a call on a Friday, and it was the Hallmark Channel.
01:00And they were like, hey.
01:01I was getting to that question, but again.
01:03We got this movie coming out called A Grand Ole Opry Christmas, and we need a new artist
01:08for some scenes.
01:10Yeah.
01:11Do you think you could come in Monday and do it?
01:13And I looked at my manager.
01:14I was like, frickin' right we can.
01:16We'll figure out how to get there.
01:17Whatever we gotta do.
01:18Yeah.
01:19So we played Sunday.
01:20I remember driving straight back, literally going straight to the Grand Ole Opry, and we
01:23are an artist in this movie named Rowdy.
01:26Yeah.
01:27And Brad Paisley's also part of the movie, too.
01:28Yes.
01:29Brad Paisley's a part of the movie.
01:30Yeah.
01:31The scene is me and Jamie Johnson, and we're just talking about, you know, he's like,
01:36stay true to who you are, you know, and all this stuff.
01:38Right.
01:39And I have like five or six lines, but then they-
01:40Did you ever think about acting before?
01:42I always wanted to.
01:43Yeah.
01:44Like, I always thought it would be something that would be super awesome.
01:46I didn't know if I'd ever get that opportunity.
01:47Yeah.
01:48But if I did, I wanted to do it.
01:49Yeah.
01:50And so, we get this small part in the Hallmark movie, and they called, and they were like,
01:53look, we really loved your scene.
01:54We have this song called Joy to Your World.
01:57Do you think you would sing it?
01:58We really want it to be like our countdown to Christmas.
02:01And I was like, frickin' right.
02:03Yeah.
02:04Like, let's do it.
02:05And they, it was me and Mickey Guyton.
02:06Yeah.
02:07And so, me and Mickey sang this song, and they called back, like, we love it so much.
02:12Do you, would you sing it on the Hallmark float at the Macy's Day Parade?
02:16And I was like, 100%.
02:18This is a no-brainer for me.
02:19Yeah.
02:20And so, it was just kind of one thing led to another, and Hallmark was just so good to
02:24me.
02:25A lot of the Hallmark actors that day, we did like a, kind of a big show at the Opry
02:30after that.
02:31Yeah.
02:32And got to sing the song with Mickey, and it just kind of felt like a small family, and
02:35we get to be a small part of that this year.
02:37Which is so cool.
02:38So, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, so you and your family are going to spend Thanksgiving
02:40in New York City.
02:41In New York City.
02:42Yes.
02:43Do they get to be on the float with you?
02:44They don't.
02:45No.
02:46They don't get to be on the float.
02:47Okay.
02:48They get to watch and enjoy that experience.
02:49Yeah.
02:50And like, to be a part to see, like, their dad be in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
02:55Like, that's just some, it's so Americana.
02:57Do you know what I mean?
02:58Yeah.
02:59Yeah, it is.
03:00And it just, you know, this is a dream of mine that I would be like, watching and be
03:03like, that would be cool one day to do that.
03:04Yeah.
03:05Not knowing it would ever happen.
03:06And here we are.
03:07We get to do that now.
03:08I know.
03:09Oh my God.
03:10Congratulations.
03:11Hey, hey.
