00:00It's Jeff Kirkshin at the 2025 CMAs, and I'm with Locash!
00:08Hey, we're back!
00:09I gotta say, right off the bat, one of our favorite Survivor Celebration lunches is with you guys.
00:15We just had ours yesterday.
00:16Oh, did you really?
00:17And I couldn't be there, I was out here with all of the amazing country artists in Nashville,
00:21but it just always makes me think back to the part...
00:24We gotta do that again.
00:25Yeah, that was crazy.
00:26You guys are welcome back anytime.
00:27Let's do it again, I'd love to.
00:28You made it a great balance between talking about your mom and her journey,
00:33and having that heart, but then also doing a damn good party.
00:36A celebration.
00:37Yeah, let's go!
00:38Oh my gosh, so here at this booth we do one big question.
00:41I only get one question with our artists, and then I have you on your way.
00:44And so I decided I have to ask about the collaboration between Locash and Gronk.
00:51Yeah.
00:52You had Rob Gronkowski on stage do a Gronk spike of a guitar.
00:58Yes.
00:59That is so epic!
01:01Yeah.
01:02How did that come about?
01:03Well, they were playing the Jets that night, that's their big rival.
01:05Right.
01:06And so we got a guitar and we put a Jets sticker on the back of it.
01:10And Gronk called me earlier to see what we were going to do with what he wanted to say for us,
01:15because we're friends with Gronk.
01:16Right.
01:17The Gronk family have been friends with them for seven years.
01:19Oh, that's awesome.
01:20And we recorded a song together.
01:21We did record songs.
01:22Right, that's right.
01:23And so, you know, he's retiring, and he finds out it's us.
01:27Literally, the day of the press conference, he found out it was us.
01:29Right, because they did his one-day contract to sign it back with the Patriots.
01:31Right.
01:32You're going to retire as a Patriot.
01:33Yeah.
01:34And I don't know if it happened on purpose, or it was God, you know, and divine, if it
01:37just happened.
01:38And he calls me, and he's like, I'm so pumped, this is ridiculous.
01:41And then I was like, he's like, I need you to throw me the football in the end zone
01:45so I could spike it one last time.
01:47Yeah.
01:48What?
01:49And Chris threw it.
01:50Perfect.
01:51I had to go over, you know, a camera, too, just so I didn't hit the camera.
01:54It was a little-
01:55Right, right.
01:56A little toss into the end zone.
01:57That's some nerve-wracking stuff, because it's like throwing out the first pitch at
01:59a baseball game.
02:00And also think about this.
02:01Only one other guy has thrown him a touchdown pass.
02:04Brady.
02:05Yes.
02:06So it's like you and Brady.
02:07So if Brady can't shows up, who-
02:11You never knew.
02:12If anybody wants Chris to throw a touchdown pass, you have to go through his agent.
02:16Yeah.
02:17And I'll just let you know, I'm coming out of retirement.
02:18High school.
02:19High school retirement.
02:20Yep, there you go.
02:21You still have college eligibility.
02:22I still-
02:23I can still go.
02:24It was crazy, though, because he destroyed that guitar.
02:26He did.
02:27Yeah.
02:28And so some could say Gronk is still destroying the Jets in his retirement.
02:32Yes, he is.
02:33We love Low Cash, everybody.
02:35Thank you guys so much for being so great all these years.
02:38You're the best.
02:39Jeff Kirkshen with Low Cash at the CMAs.
02:41Yeah.
02:42What's up?
02:43What's up?
02:44I can do this next week.
02:45It's the top.
02:47I don't know.
02:48The corner is different.
02:49It's very important.
02:50But I'll go back to it later.
02:52I can go back to it later.
