00:06After briefly being pushed aside by the United States in 2024, China has now reclaimed the top, spot in Germany's trade charts.
00:14Between January and September, trade between Germany and China hit nearly 186 billion euros.
00:21Meanwhile, trade with the U.S. dropped by almost 4%, falling just below that mark.

00:27It all comes down to tariffs.
00:29Since Donald Trump's return to office, U.S. tariffs on EU exports have jumped to 15%.
