00:00Oh what's up y'all by now you have probably figured out that I look like a

00:04Ninja Turtle um this is crazy one of the reasons I'd even started growing a beer

00:09was because I was so obese it was just easier to cover up what was happening

00:13here you know anyways um but I told y'all by the end of this vlog that I would

00:17talk to y'all about what I think is probably the craziest thing that's ever

00:20happened in my life when I was in Australia I woke up and we were nominated

00:24for three three Grammy nominations y'all dude when I made it to my first Grammy

00:30of the year I had the new artist I thought to myself it's the only time I'll

00:34ever be at the Grammys and to be coming back three years later with more

00:37nominations than I've ever had is just first of all the gratitude man and I

00:42don't care what artists say I don't care what artists act like I'm gonna tell you

00:45the real truth there's not an artist in the world that didn't grow up watching

00:49the Grammys when they were a kid and walk in their bedrooms afterwards and

00:52rehearse their speech God will take something that's either abnormal and

00:56make it extremely abnormal or he will take something that's already incredible

01:00and make it absolutely mesmerizing and that's a case here not only did God bring

01:06me back here in the best headspace I'm thinking right about it but he brought me

01:11here with the right kind of message when I look at these nominations all I see is

01:15God if it couldn't get any any more I don't even know how to say it just like I

01:20wanna cry almost like wild country album of the year

01:24and it's not even about the album or the nom

01:33it's about the name

01:40it's like I look at all my friends a snipe hunt with a huge Tyler

01:46chiller fan obviously Kelsey with patterns I see all my friends in this

01:50category but then I just see standing there is this album called beautifully

01:53broken and man if that doesn't represent what's happening in the world right now

01:57I think more than ever is that I think we can find beauty in what's happening

02:01win lose or draw holy dude we won everybody's always like how do you really

02:05feel about the Grammys because I know a lot of artists give the Grammys a lot of

02:07shit and the truth is I feel honored I feel extremely grateful that the

02:11recording Academy even considered us and uh I think this has nothing to do with me or the

02:15recording Academy frankly I think this year is all Jesus baby
