00:00Yes, Super Mario Bros. Wonder looks a bit weird, but that's a good thing.
00:05The Super Mario universe has been so diverse and so constant in its need for growth and
00:10expansion that it was only a matter of time until things take a turn for the strange and
00:15we are here for it.
00:17It's not like Mario is totally normal to begin with.
00:20As DualShockers points out, the whole franchise is about an Italian-American plumber traveling
00:25to a fungal kingdom so he can stop a big turtle from pulling off an arranged marriage between
00:30himself and the abductee, an inherently odd concept that has become a pretty familiar
00:35formula mainly in regards to Mario's 2D games.
00:40There's not a ton of info on Super Mario Bros. Wonder as of now, but seeing the trailer alone,
00:46we can see some interesting moves made by Nintendo.
00:49For example, Mario is a little more expressive with new animations and voice lines that go
00:55beyond the usual let's go.
00:58The backgrounds of the levels are stunning, the pipes come alive, Peach and Daisy are
01:02playable characters, and of course, Mario can be an elephant.
01:07I have so many questions that honestly I don't want answered until I can answer them myself
01:13with the game in my hands, which we don't have to wait that long for.
01:17According to Eurogamer, Super Mario Bros. Wonder pre-orders are available in the UK and US.
01:24The game will cost $59.99 and will be released on October 20th, 2023 exclusively on the Nintendo
01:32Switch.
