PM meets President Ramaphosa on second day of visit

The G20 leaders' Summit will kick off in a day's time in Johannesburg, South Africa, where Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is currently on a working visit.

00:07where Prime Minister Dato' Sri Anwar Ibrahim is currently on a working visit.

00:11For the second day of his agenda, we hear more from our editor Hafiz Marzouki.

00:18It is a packed second day for Prime Minister Dato' Sri Anwar Ibrahim here in Johannesburg, South Africa.

00:23As reported, he arrived in Johannesburg last night and has started the second day of his working visit here

00:30with a meeting with the Muslim leaders here in South Africa.

00:34Of course, after that, he heads over for a bilateral meeting with the South African President Cyril Ramaphosa,

00:42where both these leaders discuss areas of cooperation where Malaysia and South Africa can increase in.

00:48And after that, he heads over for the Friday prayers at a local mosque here in Johannesburg, South Africa.

00:56And that is, of course, the first half of his second day visit here in Johannesburg, South Africa.

01:02The second half begins after this, actually, where he is scheduled to meet the captains of industries here in South Africa,

01:10as well as the business delegation here as well.

01:13And, of course, he is also scheduled to receive a courtesy call by the Botswana Vice President Endaba and Kosinati Gaulathe,

01:22where, of course, they are expected to discuss areas of cooperation where Malaysia and Botswana can do better in.

01:28And, of course, he is ending this very packed day with a dinner with the Malaysian diaspora here in Johannesburg, South Africa.

01:36And, of course, that is the second day of his visit.

01:39After this, or rather tomorrow and Sunday, he will be attending the G20 Leader Summit here in Johannesburg,

01:45where he is scheduled to deliver and address there as well.
