00:00you're back here because you were part of a show you joined a show legends on the dance floor
00:09tell us a story well I was I received a message from Mary Beth Bechara a couple months ago and
00:20she told me about her idea for this show and at first it sounded like a pipe dream like
00:25you know just so many dancers the idea the concept was just so extraordinary that I really didn't
00:35think that they were going to be able to execute this fantastic and it sounds like you can't say
00:41no to somebody like Mary Beth she emotionally blackmailed me how how how it was very easy for
00:52her to say please just one last time for us oh and I said oh okay but I'm in menopause and my body
01:01doesn't move the way it used to no open a horn I'm on the page you did it quite differently I mean
01:09there was a certain groove there was it was a certain grace if I saw y'all no problem with
01:14dancing is in order to do what I did in the past you had to memorize all this choreography in a short
01:20amount of time because see I think the problem with dancing is in order to do what I did in the past you
01:33had to you had to you had to memorize so much and Mary Beth did not go easy on me and so I think that
01:50that's really where my my ADHD kicked in because I could perform under pressure perform in a short
01:56amount of time and also memorize such a huge amount of choreography
02:00It's so nice to talk about that because I can relate to that I mean about ADHD and you really didn't give me a
02:07lot of steps of Mary Beth because every time I think about Amanda Page you know
02:12people I know that's the first image that comes to mind can you show me some movements
02:27you know what you used to do I mean without having to really do the dance you were doing modern dance
02:51basically they were jazz and the hindi motherly hindi motherly yes but I was really young non so
02:59Shambra the limbs were limbering it's different
03:29you know
03:36so
