Families who lost loved ones during the Covid-19 pandemic have highlighted the “loss of life at an unprecedented, avoidable scale” after an official inquiry published its report into political decision-making during the crisis.

00:14why things need to change and across the four nations and we as a society deserve

00:27that these reports which are quite heavy and I'm hoping EasyJet don't charge me extra baggage
00:35to get back to Northern Ireland they need to look at them they need to work with us and they need to
00:41ensure that they're implemented and if they're not I want to know why as does the families within our
00:47group that we represent so it's an emotional day it's a very big day for us we fought for this
00:53inquiry so it was really important what this report says and it very clearly sets out the
01:00complete failure of leadership in terms of laying out what happened and the failures that were made
01:06that's all really really clear so I hold Boris Johnson responsible for my mother's death
