00:00What did the president mean when he called reporter Piggy?
00:04Look, the president is very frank and honest with everyone in this room.
00:08You've all seen it yourself. You've all experienced it yourselves.
00:11And I think it's one of the many reasons that the American people re-elected this president,
00:16because of his frankness. And he calls out fake news when he sees it.
00:20He gets frustrated with reporters when you lie about him,
00:24when you spread fake news about him and his administration.
00:26But he also is the most transparent president in history.
00:30And he gives all of you in this room, as you all know, unprecedented access.
00:35You are in the Oval Office almost every day asking the president questions.
00:38And so I think the president being frank and open and honest to your faces,
00:43rather than hiding behind your backs, is frankly a lot more respectful
00:47than what you saw in the last administration, where you had a president who lied to your face
00:51and then didn't speak to you for weeks and hid upstairs and didn't take your questions.
00:54So I think everyone in this room should appreciate the frankness and the openness
00:59that you get from President Trump on a near-daily basis.
01:02And as a follow-up, the Washington Post just reported that the Coast Guard has stopped considering...
01:07I'm calling on Bloomberg. Go ahead. Thank you.
01:10Caroline, thank you. Two questions for you.
01:12The New York Times is reporting that the administration is now sending a U.S. official to the G20.
01:20They are sending Mark Dillard. Can you just, can you confirm if that is true
01:25and then also explain the shift in...
01:27I'd be happy to explain because there is not a shift.
01:31The United States is not participating in official talks at the G20 in South Africa.
01:35I saw the South African president running his mouth a little bit against the United States
01:40and the president of the United States earlier today,
01:42and that language is not appreciated by the president or his team.
01:47The ambassador or the representative of the embassy in South Africa
01:51is simply there to recognize that the United States will be the host of the G20.
01:56They are receiving that send-off at the end of the event.
02:00They are not there to participate in official talks,
02:02despite what the South African president is falsely claiming.
02:05They are receiving that send-off at the U.S. official to the U.S. official to the U.S. official to the U.S. official to the U.S. official.
