00:00We're on a mission to give 2 million people all around the world clean water.
00:07This village of Malawi now has clean water, impacting over 1,000 people.
00:12This is the first of many projects we're going to be doing and the largest creator club in history.
00:17Over 3,000 of your favorite creators are all coming together.
00:21With over 3 billion followers combined, this could be one of the largest philanthropy projects in history.
00:28Team Water, all of us teaming up from around the globe to get clean water that will last decades to over 2 million people in need.
00:36All starting here in Malawi, let's give her some water.
00:40We just installed this pump. This is going to be the first time we use it.
00:48So the first cup of water is going to the village team.
00:52Oh, he's down in it.
00:53This entire community used to survive on water collected from puddles like this.
00:58And every drop had to literally be carried by hands.
01:01That's what they do every single day.
01:03What does this water look like?
01:04I mean, look at all that dirt.
01:05If I drank this, would I get sick?
01:07Yes, you probably shouldn't.
01:08I think we can all agree this is very unacceptable.
01:10I mean, look at those chunks of dirt in this water.
01:13They would no longer happen now that we have that world.
01:15With local leaders, we make sure that clean water is no longer a concern here.
01:19Wow, look how excited they are.
01:21Over 1,000 people that live around here are going to be supported by just this pump.
01:26Orkin or Vin, who wants to sub it? I'm getting tired.
01:28These two have 55 million subscribers combined and are just two of the thousands of creators that make up Team Water.
01:35Here you go.
01:36That's a lot of water.
01:37Jimmy, is this going to last forever?
01:38As long as this well is maintained, which is obviously what Team Water is going to do, this well can practically last forever.
01:43The well we started at and this water pump are just the beginning.
01:47Team Water is on a mission to raise $40 million so that we can provide over 2 million people clean water.
01:53Let's keep going.
01:54Next, we went to South America, where we received an amazing welcome from the people of Columbia.
01:59You guys are too kind.
02:00You don't have to do this.
02:01Amazingly, the pump for the local water source was designed from spare parts by one man with no formal training.
02:08You built this with recycled bicycle parts.
02:11Hey.
02:11And this well is what's currently supplying over 1,000 people with water.
02:15Hey.
02:16Oh my goodness.
02:17Out this pipe comes water that the communities are drinking.
02:19And at first glance, this water doesn't look too bad.
02:22But really, there are little particles of dirt, and more importantly, bacteria, that is constantly getting everyone here very sick.
02:28Which is why, literally right beside the well that Crystal made with bicycle parts, we built this giant water filtration system.
02:34The system filters water in three stages.
02:37This removes dirt, sand, and large particles.
02:39The water is then pumped into here, which removes the bacteria and even smaller particles.
02:42And then it's pumped into here, which removes the saline.
02:44So that fresh water can be pumped through this pipe.
02:47If anyone deserves the first glass of water to come out of this filtration system, it's Crystal.
02:52You might guess.
02:53Oh, he's going right for it.
02:54Oh, he's down again.
02:56Do you approve?
02:58What is it?
03:03Even YOLO, with over 33 million subscribers, couldn't help himself.
03:07This water is better than in my home.
03:09Team Water is going around the globe with all of your favorite creators, like Mark Rober, the Stokes Twins, and so many more.
03:16With the mission of bringing clean water, the most basic human right to millions of people.
03:21We also built this massive water storage container that can hold the equivalent of 20,000 bottles of water.
03:27And because we brought a ton of reusable bottles, we couldn't wait to share the fresh, clean water with the community.
03:32Hey, we got water for everybody here.
03:34But unfortunately, nearly 1 in 10 people don't have access to clean water.
03:39Which is why we need your help to raise $40 million.
03:41On average, every dollar donated will provide one person with clean water for an entire year.
03:47To power the water filtration system, we installed a solar farm here.
03:51But we couldn't stop there.
03:52We also have a special surprise for all the little kids.
03:55That's your brand new playground.
03:56They're way more excited about the playground than they were about the water again.
03:59We then traveled to the site of an existing clean water project, where more than 100 kids come to school just to get clean water.
04:06Here you go.
04:08Here you go, little man.
04:08Man, this one's empty.
04:11But even though this community has access to clean water, there was still a problem.
04:15Since people from over four communities have to walk far to reach the central water source, we added three tanks nearby for easier access.
04:23I'm going to show you how much walking it's going to save people in the community.
04:27Oh, these jugs are so heavy.
04:28It's hard to believe.
04:29Nearly 1 in 10 people don't have access to clean water.
04:33So, for every dollar they donate, someone on average will get...
04:36One year of clean water.
04:37Oh my gosh.
04:38Well done, Jimmy.
04:39Imagine how it's very hard to carry water.
04:41Team water goes above and beyond to take care of people.
04:43And of course, we also gave this community a playground.
04:46And then we went just north of India to Nepal, to this small village where locals hike up a winding trail to reach this water tap,
04:54where they rely on just a piece of cloth to filter their water.
04:58Behind me is one of the three tanks that's going to be providing clean drinking water to over 300 people in the community.
05:03This tank, when completed, will hold 15,000 liters of water, paired with a mechanism to clean the water, disinfect it, and make it safe to drink.
05:11Once this is done being built, how long is the tank supposed to service the community for?
05:15Easily for at least 15 to 20 years.
05:17We've teamed with WaterAid, our lead global partner, to help provide clean drinking water.
05:21They also support local governments that handle repair and make sure everything keeps working.
05:25Not only we're providing the project, but we're maintaining it for decades to come.
05:29We should probably get back to work.
05:31Yeah, we should, yeah.
05:31You know, it's going to take over 2,700 kilos of concrete to complete this water tank.
05:36I think I've worked 18 hours today.
05:37But if it means these people get clean drinking water just one day early, I'll work 24.
05:45Don't look me in the eyes doing this, bro.
05:47Those three water tanks will provide clean drinking water to 71 households and around 300 people.
05:52On average, every dollar donated is going to provide clean water for an entire year to someone in need.
05:56Make sure to donate.
05:58And if you're in the United States, you might think this only affects other countries.
06:01But science creator Mark Rober and I are hard at work.
06:04Because in 2022, flooding caused Jackson, Mississippi's entire water system to fail,
06:09which had this assisted living facility struggling.
06:12Having water to brush your teeth, prepare meals for your food, just take a bath.
06:16And to solve this issue, we have a machine that pulls water out of the air?
06:19That's right, an atmospheric water generator.
06:22And I have no idea what that means, which is why I brought Mark Rober.
06:24What does this do?
06:25So you know how on a really hot day, your glass gets beads of water on the outside?
06:29Yeah, because like the water goes through the glass to the outside.
06:32It's not going through the glass, Jimmy.
06:33That water is coming from the air.
06:35This machine cools down the air, and then it can't hold that water anymore,
06:39at which point you collect it in this big tank.
06:41Plus, it purifies it all in the process.
06:44It's basically just squeezing and wringing out air.
06:46How is that humanly possible?
06:48This water is so clean and fresh, you could use it in an operating room.
06:51Yeah, cheers.
06:54Wow.
06:54Science is amazing.
06:56This machine generates enough water for the entire assisted living facility.
07:00And they're going to be giving it to other people in the community
07:02who also struggle to get clean water.
07:04Team Water, we are internally grateful for everything.
07:06And Team Water is also partnering with Dig Deep
07:09to give the people in Rodel, West Virginia, an updated water system.
07:12In previous years, they've just had a lot of problems with the infrastructure crumbling.
07:16So this should do a lot of good for this community.
07:18All the way over in Ecuador, we're with Ricky Lamone and four of his friends
07:22with over 120 million subscribers combined.
07:25And they're going to help clean up the water from this dangerously contaminated river.
07:28Even though it's very beautiful, the water here is dirty.
07:31The river is full of germs like E. coli and Giardia.
07:34And unfortunately for the village, right next to the river,
07:36it's the only source of water for them and their children.
07:3934% of kids under five, they got malnutrition and stomach issues.
07:44So to change these kids' lives,
07:46we're building filtration for each of the three water storage tanks
07:49using reverse osmosis filters to make the water safe to drink.
07:53Yeah, it comes out completely clear.
07:55It's like magic.
07:56Excelente.
07:57I know that means very good.
08:00Yes, this is very good.
08:02And with some help, we're giving water filtration bags to everyone in the community
08:06so they can have clean water with them anywhere they go.
08:10Did you tell her what the bag is for?
08:12Yeah, I just told that, bro.
08:14I was just checking.
08:15Thanks to the Amazon Rainforest Investor Coalition
08:17for supporting the amazing work that's being done in this video.
08:20Water!
08:21Meanwhile, across the world in Zambia,
08:24fitness creator Brownie is at the largest community in this video.
08:27There are a staggering 9,000 people
08:29that do not have access to clean water here.
08:32And their only option is to dig shallow wells that often get polluted.
08:35It's not covered.
08:36So when we receive rainfall, there's flooding into this well.
08:39It gets contaminated.
08:40You'll find yourself in the hospital.
08:42So we installed three 10,000 liter water tanks
08:45to make sure that every last one of the 9,000 people here
08:48have access to clean water.
08:50Is it good?
08:51Yeah, it's good.
08:52Now that these tanks are supplying brand new water stations
08:55all around the community,
08:56they can finally fill those old unsafe wells.
09:00Let's go.
09:02Bring a stop to this.
09:03The projects you guys saw in this video
09:04are just a sample size of what we're going to be doing
09:07with Team Water to give 2 million people
09:09clean water all around the world.
09:10Five years ago, we did Team Trees
09:12where we raised $20 million to plant 20 million trees.
09:14And three years ago, we did Team Seeds
09:16where we raised $30 million to pull 30 million pounds of trash
09:19out of the ocean.
09:19And now we're back with Team Water.
09:21Only this time, it's the audacious goal of $40 million.
09:25It gives 2 million people all around the world
09:27clean water for decades each.
09:29And none of this would be possible
09:30without our lead global partner, WaterAid.
09:32If you want to donate,
09:33just click the donate button down below
09:34or you can go to teamwater.org
09:36where you can see every single donation.
09:37You can leave messages when you donate.
09:39You can also see the top donators.
09:40Me and Mark Rover know we can't raise $40 million on our own,
09:43which is why you're going to see thousands of creators
09:44uploading videos, TikToks, shorts, reels,
09:47Instagram photos about Team Water.
09:48And on top of donating,
09:49I need you guys to go engage with all of that content.
09:52I need you to share it.
09:52I need you to spread the word.
09:54I need you to harass your favorite creators
09:55to support Team Water.
09:56Do your part to make this a success.
09:58If you're watching this video,
09:59when it first goes up,
10:00you'll notice the counter doesn't start at $0.
10:01It's starting at $500,000.
10:04That's because Shopify,
10:05who powers the Team Water merch store,
10:07has stepped up with a $500,000 donation.
10:09Thank you, Shopify.
10:10Also, special thanks to YouTube,
10:11who will match the next $2 million donated to Team Water.
10:15So if you donate to Team Water right now,
10:17instead of giving someone a year of clean drinking water,
10:19you'll actually be giving them two.
