Snow and ice warnings come into force amid ‘tricky travel conditions’

Snow and ice warnings have come into force across the UK, as the Met Office said the wintry weather “could create some particularly tricky travel conditions”.It comes after snow fell across parts of Scotland as a cold snap grips the northern half of the UK.A yellow warning for snow and ice is in place in Northern Ireland from midnight until 12pm on Wednesday.
