00:00Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:04Alright, getting it for Stine, Mets with Guru.
00:06This is the crossover with Willard and Dibbs.
00:09The fellas!
00:10What's up, guys? How we doing?
00:11Yo! Dibbers!
00:13Yeah, just...
00:14How's the baby in the ear infection?
00:16Oh, better. So much better.
00:17Yeah, it's amazing.
00:19That's great!
00:20Yeah, modern medicine.
00:21And so, you know, she slept, which means we slept.
00:24There it is.
00:25I went from probably about three hours of sleep two nights ago
00:28to a full, like, nine.
00:30I saw a nine last night.
00:32Nine was, like, seven dreams.
00:34It was one of those ones where...
00:35Seven dreams?
00:36Like, you dream and you wake up.
00:37It's like, oh, my God.
00:38I don't think I can go back to...
00:40And then you sleep again and you get another dream.
00:42And it's like, oh, my God.
00:43This is like a...
00:44That's incredible.
00:44It's like spending all day at the movie theater.
00:46My last dream, I swear, guys, it was last week.
00:49Somebody stole my car and I didn't have insurance
00:52and I thought I had.
00:54And I woke up.
00:55And then I got my car.
00:57It was a dream.
00:59And not the best.
01:00And I had a great day.
01:01If you could bottle up the feeling that you get
01:03when you wake up from a nightmare
01:05and realize that it's not true,
01:08oh, if you could bottle that.
01:10Listen, I'm over.
01:11Oh, yeah.
01:12I don't know.
01:12The last time I had one, I think it was on Friday morning
01:14because I woke up and I was in such a great mood
01:16and I thought it was Saturday.
01:18Yeah.
01:18And then I realized I had to go to work.
01:20So it works both ways.
01:22Sometimes it's so good.
01:23Yeah, but that's...
01:25Oh, God.
01:26It was really tough.
01:27I'm like, why am I up at 7 o'clock on a Saturday?
01:29Oh, that's right.
01:30I got to go work with these guys.
01:31But at least it was still ahead.
01:33Like, I hate waking up, right?
01:35When you wake up on, like, a Monday
01:36and you still think it's Sunday or whatever.
01:39That's tough.
01:39Like, it's...
01:40Yeah.
01:40Like, oh, damn it.
01:41Well, according to Goo and a lot of Warriors fans,
01:43you'll be able to get three hours of sleep tonight,
01:45you know, at around...
01:46No, I'm only...
01:46Just counting them out.
01:47They're done.
01:48Well...
01:48I'm...
01:49Can I just say it?
01:50Yeah, no, because your voice is...
01:52You can't just say it.
01:52I know officially who all is out.
01:55Everybody.
01:56Pretty much everybody.
01:57Everybody.
01:57Randy came in like, it ain't official.
01:58I'm on a buddy.
01:59I need to be like the radio guy here,
02:01but in case I just tuned in...
02:02Steph is out.
02:04Okay.
02:04Jimmy is out.
02:05Draymond is out.
02:06Wait, Draymond's out?
02:07Yeah.
02:07Because Steph is out?
02:08Kaminga is out.
02:09They're all out.
02:10They're all out.
02:11Okay.
02:12And Guru...
02:12Go ahead, Will, because I love you.
02:14And I know you know what I'm about to say.
02:16I'm shocked that you're shocked.
02:19Like, I'm shocked that you're shocked.
02:22I was listening when the news came in.
02:24Oh, yeah.
02:25Shout out Shaka Smart.
02:26Breaking news.
02:27I mean...
02:28Warriors are old.
02:29Go ahead.
02:29I hear you.
02:30But it's not just old.
02:31Like, there's a few things going on here.
02:33Steve Kirst told us last week that there's no way they're playing both of these games.
02:38All right.
02:38And so, you know, like, I know you're giving Steph the pass.
02:42Yeah.
02:43And, like, the way my brain works, I don't know if anyone's sick.
02:47I don't know if he tweaked his ankle.
02:49Yeah.
02:50I don't think that Jimmy's back.
02:51Like, I don't care.
02:53Like, I don't think the Warriors are a bunch of whiners.
02:57Okay.
02:58And if they're saying this about the schedule...
03:00No, they're saying...
03:01Who am I to...
03:02Like, no, I'll give you that.
03:03But...
03:03And so this is...
03:04I just don't like it this early, but then that's when they feel like, you know, this is...
03:09But this is when their gauntlet is happening.
03:11All right.
03:11Like, we were in the other room and Lucas goes, did you know that the Lakers are on a five-day break?
03:16I couldn't believe it.
03:18Yeah.
03:18Spadone said they don't play until Sunday.
03:20Yeah.
03:20Yeah.
03:20Five-day break.
03:21But the Warriors are going to get one of those.
03:23Exactly.
03:23Yeah.
03:24So they won't rest then.
03:25But when the Lakers have to do that Grammy trip that they do every year...
03:30Look at you.
03:30Guys are going to be rested.
03:31But I guess why I got started real quick, Will, was last night.
03:36I just, without Ben Carroll, another edition of, one of the teams don't have their best player.
03:41We can still beat the Warriors when they're full.
03:44It hurts.
03:44And it's not all...
03:46Basketball's not at all about all athleticism.
03:50But you could see it, Dibs.
03:51I can see what might be their kryptonite.
03:55And sometimes it hurts, man.
03:57And my last thing I'm all over, what Jimmy did to Buddy, that broke my heart.
04:03Ah, boy.
04:04That's...
04:04Yeah, that wasn't a fan of it.
04:06Because you wouldn't do it to Willard.
04:08So don't do it to me.
04:09Of course you would.
04:10Don't be one of those dudes.
04:11I have, and I will.
04:11No, keep the same smoke.
04:13He would not dare say that and dress him down.
04:16I'm not going to ever throw the effing ball to you.
04:19And the dude's struggling.
04:20Where's the leadership, Will?
04:22That's not cool.
04:23And if you guys are one of those leaders, and I don't think you are, how can you sign off on that?
04:28That is not cool.
04:30Go.
04:30Go.
04:31Come on, y'all.
04:32You and Stiney do this to each other every day.
04:35I disagree.
04:37It's actually one-sided.
04:39They dish it to each other.
04:40Exactly.
04:41Buddy doesn't do it to Jimmy.
04:42But then it becomes common, though.
04:44We have not seen that.
04:46Yes, we...
04:46The only thing that's different is he got caught on camera, and we can read his lips.
04:52This...
04:52Steve Kerr said, I'm so bleepin' sick of Draymond.
04:56That happened.
04:56And then they go win rings.
04:58These are such emotional moments.
05:00So nothing there.
05:01Nothing.
05:02Literally.
05:03Dims, I'm not throwing you the ball again.
05:06And did he?
05:07Did he throw him the ball again?
05:09It's not even about that.
05:10It's about why would you embarrass me in front of the magic?
05:13And now this thing's going viral.
05:15He was ticked.
05:15I think that it's because...
05:17It's an emotional moment.
05:17And it was his turnover.
05:19And, like, should Buddy have, like, gone out of his shoes to, like, at least get a piece
05:24of it?
05:24Whatever.
05:25And Jimmy's like, I'm not throwing you the ball again.
05:27It's like, oh, yeah, of course.
05:29And it's kind of like Brock Purdy, if he would have said that to Ronnie Bell last year when
05:33Ronnie Bell had the drop, and I'm not throwing you the ball again.
05:37Well, Brock wouldn't do that, but Brock's not Jimmy, and so...
05:40And it hit different because the play had been stopped so everybody could hear it.
05:43Right.
05:43I mean, if you say that on a down court, well, I get it, but play was stopped, Evan.
05:48I ain't thought...
05:49You that mad?
05:50Who are you really...
05:50It was on the next position.
05:51It wasn't on the same play.
05:52Yeah.
05:53Take it out on the magic.
05:54Don't take it out on Buddy who's struggling.
05:56I just thought that wasn't cool.
05:58That's all.
05:58I thought it was a big nothing burger, and I asked Mark earlier, I said, on a scale of
06:02one to ten, like, how big a deal is that?
06:04And I said, I got it as a two.
06:06And he's like, I have it as a negative two.
06:09And honestly, forget the Buddy and Jimmy buddy comedy thing.
06:12Because we haven't seen it all season.
06:14We haven't seen it, and I do think that there are reasons for that, and the biggest reason
06:18is that Buddy has stunk, and you're not going to go up there and be like, I'm Batman.
06:23I saved the day.
06:24No, Buddy, you are a real...
06:26You're not a problem, but you're not having a good year.
06:28And so in that moment, for me, that was just Jimmy being Jimmy, and it's like, yeah, Jimmy,
06:33should you not have said that?
06:35I guess, but you said it to Buddy, and I don't think that Buddy heard that and was like,
06:39oh my God, he's not going to throw to me.
06:41I would not even try to get up there.
06:44To me, that was a big nothing.
06:46That was Jimmy.
06:47Although I do like what you said earlier, Evan, about your little filing cabinet that
06:51apparently you have, and you...
06:53I'm going to file that away.
06:54I'm going to go ahead and file that under VT, verbal taunt, and file that away.
07:01When you said that, I was like, ooh, I like that.
07:04Like, that part of it, sure.
07:05Because if there's more of this later, if there's more of like...
07:10Bad Jimmy?
07:11Could that be in the file?
07:12Or like Jimmy gets to a spot, and Buddy cuts to the hoop, and Jimmy looks at him and goes,
07:16see, I don't expect that.
07:18But that, to me, would be where your file that you apparently have started, that's where
07:24that file becomes an actual thing.
07:26As a one-off, it was nothing, but I liked what you said about, oh, I'm going to go ahead
07:30and file that one away.
07:31I like that part.
07:32I didn't like it personally, and I think that a lot of...
07:35Buddy healed, it's a proverbial punching bag for a lot of people, both fans as well
07:40as people on his team.
07:41A lot of the ribbing that Jimmy Butler gave to Buddy last year was fun in games because
07:47they were winning.
07:49I feel like it was just low-key bullying, but he's Buddy healed and he can take it.
07:52Man.
07:53So, like, I don't know, like, how many times have we seen Buddy dish it out to...
07:57He's always the butt of the joke.
07:59Bud of the joke.
08:01Like, he's just...
08:02I should have landed it the first time.
08:06But, to me, the closest we've seen them look happy together is on their bobblehead this
08:12year.
08:13Well, look...
08:14Buddy had a 20-point game in L.A.
08:15I didn't see them messing around after that.
08:17We have not seen that series this year.
08:20There's a totem pole on every NBA team.
08:22It's just the way it is.
08:23Buddy healed.
08:24Nobody's yelling at Jimmy Butler.
08:26That's not...
08:27That's why...
08:27You would have to be Draymond.
08:29No one's yelling at Draymond.
08:30Quentin Post is not going to yell at Draymond.
08:33I'm not passing you the ball if Draymond drops the ball.
08:35And that's just the way...
08:36That's the way the structure of the whole thing works.
08:38The pecking order.
08:39Yeah.
08:40Buddy healed his sock this year.
08:42Steve Kerr screamed at him in the middle of a blowout last week.
08:46Yeah, I haven't brought that up.
08:46He has been awful, and this is a performance-based industry, and these guys get that.
08:52So you have to button up and buckle up and take that when you keep making mistakes, number one.
08:59And number two, again, I just...
09:02I'm under the impression this is absolute standard operating procedure, and we just happen to see this one.
09:09Dudes are yelling at each other.
09:09So you heard it in real time.
09:11It's not the first time Jimmy Butler's yelled at a teammate on the court.
09:14That's all I'm saying.
09:15Dude, I don't think it's the first...
09:17I don't know of a game where guys aren't yelling at each other.
09:20And I know you guys think I'm from Venus, but there's a new era.
09:24Shout out to the baseball hat out there of what goes on and what we think is okay and locker room stuff.
09:30But this was on the floor.
09:32Just think about Buddy, though.
09:34Just for one second, and we know he's playing bad dibs.
09:36That thing goes viral, and nobody can...
09:40There's no Willard or Dibs saying, it was a nothing burger.
09:43They're fine.
09:44I just thought that had a negative connotation on Jimmy.
09:47You're frustrated.
09:48I get it.
09:49And what?
09:49I don't know.
09:51But pick your team, your brother up.
09:53But to dressing down, and that's how...
09:56I missed in real time.
09:57We were together, didn't hear the sound.
09:58I wouldn't watch it again.
09:59And I go, just think if I'm Buddy, that comes off bad.
10:03Are you okay with Kyle Shanahan dressing down Renardo Green?
10:07No, that was called for, and I liked.
10:10Okay, listen.
10:11Like, our defense is leaky as the...
10:13Well, one guy's the coach, and Jimmy's the player.
10:17Jimmy's not the coach.
10:17He's not, but...
10:18But he's not the coach.
10:19But we know there are coaches on the floor, and 36-year-old superstar future Hall of Famers are that.
10:28Like, we know that.
10:29Draymond, Steph, and Jimmy have a completely different role and status within this structure.
10:35And they are absolutely allowed to tell the other people yes and no.
10:39Like, that's how that works.
10:41That, to me, was more of an Aaron Rodgers moment, where Aaron Rodgers, like, makes a throw, and the guy's in the wrong spot.
10:47I hate that one.
10:48Aaron Rodgers pushes his offensive lineman.
10:50It's not news, by the way, that Jimmy is rough around the edges.
10:54Like, this is Jimmy.
10:56It's Jimmy Butler.
10:57It didn't bother me at all.
10:59When he wins, everything's all fun and games.
11:02And when Jimmy Butler's on teams that lose, he becomes the Jimmy that has been discarded by four different teams.
11:11I just, like, I think that this is Jimmy.
11:14The same way, like, it's not even the full level of what Draymond is.
11:20And we're all, like, maybe we're just used to that more.
11:25I mean, Draymond screams at teammates way more.
11:28Right, right.
11:29Way more than anyone.
11:30Probably in the league.
11:33That's a fact.
11:34But he also elevates them and will go to bat for them.
11:37Man, this just, I ain't passing you that.
11:39Jimmy hasn't gone to bat for his teammates.
11:40The entire summer.
11:41Man, who are you?
11:42For Buddy Heald.
11:43Well, I mean, listen again.
11:45That's the guy.
11:45He's not yelling at J.K.
11:46He knows he can't yell at J.K.
11:47No, but your spotlight.
11:48Sure he can.
11:50When has he done it?
11:50I don't know.
11:52Again, we don't usually see all of this stuff.
11:54Jimmy Butler.
11:56And I guess that's 90% of my life.
11:58You couldn't have waited to give it to him in the title.
12:01I mean, it's an emotional game.
12:02Jimmy Butler put Buddy Heald very much under his wing all year last year.
12:08They put on a show.
12:09There's a reason they had a bobblehead together.
12:11I'm shocked.
12:11I mean, Buddy was here before Jimmy ever came, so I don't know if he ever put him under his wing.
12:16Once he arrived here, they became a thing.
12:18And Jimmy had won nothing, even though he took the team to the finals.
12:22I just, yeah, I don't know.
12:24Like, the way I took that.
12:25And I know emotions in the game.
12:26You know I know.
12:27Also, I mean, let's not take it for face value words like he's actually never going to.
12:33Yeah.
12:33Like Dib said, I know he's going to pass it to him.
12:35I'm sure he passed it to him again in the game.
12:37I didn't watch every pass he made.
12:38It's just like when you wake up on a Sunday morning and say, I'm never drinking again.
12:42Yeah, you are.
12:43All right.
12:43Of course you are.
12:44But in a moment where you're not feeling it, you express your frustration.
12:51I don't know, man.
12:51I think if we were ever on an NFL sideline, for example.
12:55No, that I believe.
12:56You don't even got to sell me on that.
12:58Come on now.
12:58Wow.
12:59But I love what Kyle did to Green.
13:01That was warranted.
13:02You're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGM, ZFM, and HD1 San Francisco and Odyssey Sports Station.
13:06Always live in the free Odyssey app and now broadcasting live from the Laughing Monk Studios.
13:11Yeah, I mean, I didn't like it, but I'll put it in the file.
13:15I think the NFL is so much different, though.
13:18I mean, guys are literally banging heads every single play.
13:21I've just never seen Christian McCaffrey throw Jake Brendel under the bus, even though he could
13:26umpteen times a game when this guy does not give him room to run the ball.
13:29But that's not his personality.
13:31You'll never see it from Steph either.
13:33You know what I mean?
13:33That's who Jimmy and Draymond are.
13:36And remember, they are.
13:37I was sensitive when Moody did what he did to, uh, what was the kicker?
13:41When he got into...
13:42It was the long snapper.
13:43The long snapper.
13:44Yeah.
13:44Yeah, remember, I didn't like that from Debo, but then, you know, months later, I heard he
13:49was like, you gotta step up.
13:50I'm like, well, it wasn't that bad.
13:51But it looked bad.
13:52It looked bad, and ultimately, it didn't lead to Jake Moody making more kicks, and then
13:56Moody's gone, and Pepper's gone, and well, Debo's gone, too.
14:00So, that's the way that went.
14:01And I look at yesterday, and I'm just watching the playback right now, I think that Jimmy
14:05was mad because he makes a bad pass, and you have Buddy cutting down the middle, and Buddy
14:11didn't even really put his arm up.
14:12Maybe Buddy thought the pass was going to somebody else, because it was such a bad pass that Buddy
14:18probably thought, like, oh, it's gotta be all the way out to the three-point line, and
14:21then Jimmy says what he said, and whatever, Jimmy, like, that's fine.
14:25For me, it was a big old nothing burger.
14:27It was a sign of frustration for an older team that was playing against a team that
14:33maybe, not that they should have beaten, but they should play better, and this team
14:38turns the ball over so much.
14:39Do you think they know that they didn't have it early against Orlando?
14:42No.
14:43I think that they thought that they had it, but they were looking for help from the others,
14:48and when you don't get help from the others, well, then you better be amazing, and Steph
14:52was great, Jimmy was great, Draymond was fine, and then everyone else was not very good.
14:57The youth and athleticism was Orlando by a landslide.
15:01And it will be against 23 of the 30 teams.
15:03See, Willard, and that's what I'm having the problem with, I guess.
15:06Like, tell me, Goo, just, some nights are gonna be like that.
15:10Yeah.
15:11Goo, some nights are gonna be like that.
15:13And so, I don't know, maybe we all need to sort of, like, make a, if you want to be a
15:20Warrior fan in 2025, you're gonna have to sort of look at this from 10,000 feet as opposed
15:28to night to night.
15:30Like, they are playing this for April.
15:33Of course.
15:35Of course.
15:35They're playing, and I do think the things that are triggering people right now are going
15:40to lessen.
15:40Like, Ev, I heard you say, like, the schedule excuses need to stop.
15:45I think by definition, they will.
15:47Like, I take what he pointed out when they get freed up.
15:51But you sort of, like, made it sound like you, and this, I get it, like, you're frustrated
15:55by those excuses being used now.
15:58I think that they're probably pretty fair.
16:01I don't have any reason to think that Steve Kerr is making this up, that he says, I've
16:06been in the league for 40 years and I've never seen anything like this.
16:08And it is crazy what they had to do.
16:09Okay, if that's what you're telling me is going on with your team, I believe you.
16:15I believe you.
16:16You're Steve Kerr.
16:17I believe you.
16:17I don't think you're making that up for no good reason.
16:21But, so I don't think those excuses will continue because they won't have them.
16:25They won't want them and won't need them.
16:27No, they won't have them.
16:28And I looked at their next five when they come home after tonight.
16:30You've got Portland, and you're off for two days.
16:33You've got Utah, you're off.
16:35You've got Houston, you're off for two.
16:37You've got New Orleans, you're off for two.
16:39Then OKC, you have five games in 12 days, all at home.
16:43Perfect.
16:43And you've got Portland, Utah, and New Orleans.
16:46Houston, OKC, fine.
16:47Those might be a little bit tougher.
16:49And I looked, Evan, at all, not all the teams, but I did a little bit of a dive on other teams
16:53who've played a ton of road games.
16:56OKC's played nine road games, and they've had three back-to-backs.
17:00The Warriors have played 12 road games after tonight, and they've had five back-to-backs.
17:05So that, whatever, old team, young team, they've had five back-to-backs already through 17 games.
17:11That is bananas.
17:12The Lakers have had nine road games.
17:14They've had three back-to-backs, not as many.
17:17The Hawks have had nine road games, and they've had three back-to-backs.
17:20And so if you look at just the teams who've played almost as many road games, and no one's
17:25played as many as the Warriors, which will be 12 after tonight.
17:28Not only have they played 12 games, most in the association, they've played 17 games,
17:33also the most.
17:35They've played five back-to-backs, also the most.
17:37So the schedule thing, I get it.
17:40You can whine and cry, and Steve Kerr has had multiple comments, and you can take that
17:45however you want.
17:46But the facts are the facts of the matter.
17:49No, my point is simply, that won't be something you can hide behind by the end of the new year.
17:54Agreed.
17:55Because we only have two more back-to-backs in the next 38 days, and in that time, you
18:00play the same amount of games you just played in the first 29.
18:02So if they still continue to struggle, and some of the issues that are present on a night
18:09like last night, which is your young guys weren't good enough to help the older players,
18:13and on some of the other games, your older players weren't good enough to get you to
18:17the finish line, then Steve Kerr will not be saying, hey, well, it's the schedule.
18:22We've got to figure some stuff out.
18:24And maybe that's where you look to the deadline.
18:26Maybe that's where you look to how we can improve this roster.
18:28Because I know everyone wants to change now, but this is their team, at least for the next
18:33couple of months.
18:34Yeah.
18:34So they've got to figure something out.
18:35I think I look at some schedule quirks also.
18:41Warriors are one of two teams in the NBA that have not lost a home game.
18:45They just haven't played very many of them.
18:47They've played 11 road games.
18:50They've played five home games.
18:51Okay, five.
18:51All right.
18:52I'll be there Friday night.
18:53Like they're 9-7, and they have played not just a crazy travel schedule, not just the
18:59most back-to-backs, not just the most games.
19:02Two-thirds of them are also on the road.
19:04More than two-thirds of them are on the road.
19:07So, yeah, this is going to get better.
19:10And if it doesn't, then I think the points that you guys are bringing up are completely
19:14valid.
19:15But Dibs is right.
19:17They're going to finish this game tonight.
19:18They're going to rest.
19:19They're going to get on a flight.
19:20They're going to come home.
19:21They're going to be here for two weeks, 14 full days, before they've got to get on a
19:26plane again.
19:27All of the games are at home.
19:28Three of them are against crappy opponents.
19:30Two of them are against good ones.
19:32They'll probably go 4-1, and everybody is going to win.
19:35I got it.
19:36Because I expected not to hold it to a standard.
19:37You've got five games in 12 days.
19:39I got you.
19:39Two weeks, essentially.
19:40Yeah.
19:40Right, but you've got days off on the front end and the back end of it.
19:44That's the point.
19:45And even though you do go on the road and you've got a back-to-back Toronto and Brooklyn,
19:49you have a back-to-back OKC in Utah, and you will, at that point, have the most back-to-backs
19:53in the association.
19:55But, yeah, you've got a big old fat January where you don't leave the Pacific time zone
20:00for more than three weeks.
20:02So, yeah, we can all look at this and say, yeah, bad schedule, rough, but you're going
20:06to have the good still coming because, as you know, Evan, everyone only plays 41 games
20:11on the road.
20:12Yes, that is true.
20:14I would be worried if any of these injuries were real.
20:17OK, gotcha.
20:18But they're not.
20:18No?
20:19Well, here you go.
20:20Now, that one's starting to conserve.
20:2223 years old with bilateral knee tendinitis.
20:24I'm bummed that he's not here for this one.
20:28Oh, right.
20:29This one.
20:29Yeah, right.
20:30This is the one.
20:30This is the one.
20:31I got this.
20:31This is the night where you're like, oh, man.
20:35Yeah.
20:35And Steve had told us a couple days ago that he was very hopeful that Jonathan would play
20:41tonight.
20:41Yeah.
20:42And he's not, which tells me that something is lingering.
20:45Oh, and I wonder what's lingering.
20:47And if I can spend 20 seconds playing the conspiracy theory troll role of the show.
20:54Let's go backward where he plays and then they lose.
20:59First game is San Antonio.
21:00And then, well, he played that game.
21:02He played half that game.
21:03That's what I'm saying.
21:04He played.
21:04I'm going back to the previous game.
21:05Oh, OK.
21:06Thunder.
21:06Against OKC.
21:07Yeah.
21:07He played.
21:08And then Draymond comes out after and says, you know, whatever it is, you know, there's
21:12guys and there's this and there's that.
21:14And then JK plays a half.
21:15Yeah.
21:15Ooh, my knees.
21:17And he hasn't played since.
21:18And in that game, he didn't start.
21:21They changed the lineup.
21:22So Draymond makes his comments.
21:24The very next game against San Antonio, Kaminga doesn't play.
21:27And then my knees hurt at halftime and I haven't played since.
21:31It was questionable going into the game.
21:33So there was already a knee listing prior to the game.
21:38I'm just saying.
21:39Well, what are you saying?
21:40I'm curious.
21:40What I'm saying is if you are a conspiracy theory.
21:43What is the conspiracy?
21:44He doesn't want to play.
21:45He doesn't want to play?
21:46He doesn't want to play because he got called out.
21:50That's pretty heavy.
21:51And he's not starting.
21:52That's pretty heavy.
21:52So, like, you've got bilateral knee tendinitis and you're 23, okay?
21:56Which is weird, but man, okay.
21:58And that came out of nowhere.
22:00I'm not with you.
22:01He don't want to play.
22:02That's something he's had before, right?
22:03He had the ankle last year for two months.
22:05Man, everything.
22:06That's heavy.
22:06I just, I don't know.
22:08Every single thing they've all said.
22:10He's not wired that way.
22:12This is what I still love about the kid.
22:14Does he make all the right decisions?
22:17Does he think too much of himself?
22:18Whatever.
22:19We could have that conversation.
22:21But, dude, his head seems to be screwed on pretty straight.
22:26That's a big, and I know you're not accusing it.
22:29I'm not.
22:29I'm just saying it's a little bit of a head scratcher.
22:32For me, I don't think he's wired that way.
22:34This would be a game where, all right, no Steph, no Draymond, no Jimmy.
22:38He'd start tonight.
22:40And cook.
22:40But he's not.
22:41Right.
22:42That doesn't seem to add up.
22:44What does add up?
22:46And that's what I wonder.
22:46That is her.
22:47Yeah.
22:47Okay.
22:48That's where I'm at.
22:48He also missed four games last year with tendinitis in both knees.
22:52So it's not.
22:53And that was in like.
22:54That would actually be more concerning to me.
22:55The fact that this is something that's happened again.
22:57This was in April.
22:58In April.
22:59Yeah.
22:59After he came back from the ankle.
23:00Yes.
23:01Evan has a call.
23:02So he's got to get out of here.
23:03But did you hear the morning rolls, Willard?
23:06Because Sam Loveman has been the star of the station for me.
23:09I don't know if dibs are about to play it.
23:11And he did an impersonation of you.
23:13Uh-oh.
23:14I gave him a nine.
23:15I know dibs is like there are no nines.
23:17One through five.
23:18And fives are rare.
23:19Okay.
23:19But if you can't, Randy, if you can play, Sam Loveman doing his Willard.
23:24Let's see what you think.
23:25Sam has the Mark Willard laugh down to a tee.
23:27Can you do it for us real quick, Sam?
23:28Come on.
23:29Do it.
23:30Do the laugh.
23:31That sounded like a dead pelican.
23:37That was not.
23:38That was six for the one.
23:40That was not.
23:41Will, what are you getting at this?
23:43What are you getting at this?
23:43I'm going to let you.
23:43I'm going to let you.
23:44You know me.
23:45I don't know about that one.
23:46You know me.
23:47I don't know about that.
23:48You know me better than anyone else in the station.
23:50So you go first.
23:51It would be a two.
23:52But because when you do it live on the spot, it's a three.
23:57It gets upgraded to a three.
23:59His laugh is not that high-pitched.
24:02Okay.
24:02Oh, man.
24:03And it's also not that deliberate.
24:04Like, he had pauses in there.
24:06Pause, pause, pause.
24:07Totally.
24:08Yeah.
24:08Will, you don't impress him.
24:10Not at all.
24:11Not at all.
24:12And you can.
24:13It's a three.
24:14It's a solid three.
24:16But the guy that did the numbers are numbers thing, the guy.
24:19He was a coer on this show.
24:21That one.
24:22I was driving.
24:23I was driving down bay.
24:24That was good.
24:25I was in stitches.
24:26All right.
24:26I do not mind someone nailing it if they nail it.
24:29Maybe I gasped out Sammy did.
24:31Sam, you did not nail it.
24:33Sorry.
24:34Two instead of three.
24:35It's going to be a no from me, dog.
24:36Yeah.
24:37And I'm trying to remember the actor in the movie, Pitch Perfect, but it was not Pitch Perfect.
24:41No.
24:41Okay.
24:42But I give him.
24:43He gets a point or two for trying.
24:44Sammy wasn't impressed.
24:45I'm sorry.
24:46I'm teasing it all show.
24:47Well, he was hyping it up like, you know, we're going to listen to the audio version of
24:50Mona Lisa.
24:52And by the way, Stray goes to you, Spadoni, for saying it was a six.
24:56Shut up.
24:57Well, I said not.
24:58He's got to prop up his guy.
25:00Come on.
25:00Come on.
25:01We rate things on one to five.
25:03And it all goes back to Mark Kreidler.
25:05Yeah.
25:06Because everything was rated on one to five Kreids.
25:08Oh, boy.
25:09Getting five Kreids was rare.
25:11Yeah.
25:11So, the majority of things are two, threes, and fours unless you totally suck and you
25:15get a one.
25:16So, the number of numbers, dude, is the winner, right?
25:19He said he did a better job.
25:21Yeah.
25:21He did a better job.
25:22But he said, love me when I heard him driving.
25:23I go, that's real.
25:24He did a better job.
25:26Speaking of threes, you got Warriors live at 3.30, right?
25:29Oh, you guys got a short shot.
25:30That's a three.
25:31Right there.
25:31Yes.
25:323.30 to day.
25:334.30 tip.
25:33I'm not good at math in the afternoon.
25:37Because numbers are numbers.
25:38Yeah, they are.
25:38Those numbers are accurate.
25:41We'll see what we got tonight.
25:42Roller Dibs coming up.
25:4395.7 The Game.
25:43Good luck on your call.
25:45Numbers are numbers.
25:46And numbers are numbers.
