A man who battered a 40-year-old to death and left his body in a bath has been jailed for life.

00:01Police discovered 40-year-old Marvin Dickinson's body curled in a bathtub after one of the
00:07defendants' neighbours alerted the Metropolitan Police to a dreadful smell coming from his
00:15property on Moselle Avenue in Wood Green in North London in September of last year.
00:23Thirty-six-year-old Dante Forrest was sentenced to a life with a minimum term of 22 years here
00:30at the Old Bailey on Tuesday. Mr Dickinson was last seen on CCTV footage in the early hours
00:36of the 10th of September, walking with the defendants and carrying a takeaway pizza box
00:43when police arrived at Forrest's home. Ten days later, they found the property boarded
00:49up padlocks and in complete darkness. A pathological examination showed Mr Dickinson died as a result
00:59of a substantial blunt force trauma to the left side of his head, while a blood-stained pizza
01:06box was found in Mr Forrest's flat, suggesting Mr Dickinson died soon after the last sighting.
01:14Mr Dickinson's family said in a statement that he will forever be loved, missed and remembered.
