00:00Amal Company, one of Qatar's leading diversified firms, has joined forces with Germany's NIDIX Group,
00:06a century-old global leader in cable management systems.
00:10The two signed a Memorandum of Understanding to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Qatar.
00:16The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both countries,
00:20including Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs and Germany's Minister for Economy and Energy,
00:26reflecting the strategic importance of this partnership for bilateral trade and industry cooperation.
00:32This partnership aims to explore the establishment of glass fibre reinforced polymer production line in Qatar
00:40demonstrates how cooperation between our private sector can translate into tangible strategic outcome.
00:47The joint venture will produce advanced cable management products made from steel and reinforced materials,
00:53supporting infrastructure and industrial projects across Qatar and the wider region.
00:59NIDIX has invested a two-digit million amount, and after rendering up production,
01:06will employ 200 people at this site.
01:10And production will also be intended for export to other Gulf states.
01:16The partnership brings global expertise to Qatar, supporting advanced manufacturing, creating jobs,
01:23and contributing to the country's long-term economic vision.
