We’re proud to announce that Mohit Poddar, PGDM in Marketing, Batch 2024–26 — a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from Umes Chandra College and a native of West Bengal, has been placed with EY as a Business Consultant, marking a significant milestone in his professional journey. At PIBM Pune, Mohit’s transformation extended far beyond academics. From being actively involved in multiple extracurricular activities to leading the campus as the President of the Marketing Club, he developed strong leadership abilities, an active listening mindset, and refined interpersonal skills — qualities essential for consulting roles.
Through profile-based training, consistent corporate exposure, and communication-focused development, Mohit strengthened his ability to analyze business problems and present solutions effectively. His Summer and Winter Internships, especially his experience at the ISDI Conference hosted at PIBM, played a pivotal role in shaping his consulting approach and eventually helped him secure the opportunity at EY.

00:00Hello everyone, my name is Mohit Pradhar and I'm from Haura West Bengal and I'm currently pursuing PGDM from Pune Institute of Business Management under Marketing Plus Operations.
00:08And I'm very glad to share that I am placed with EY as a business consultant.
00:13And if I talk about my experiences and challenges and learning in my institute, PIBM, so I will start from my BOP experience to the time I get placed.
00:22So when I was there from the day one of my BOP and I was a very shy guy, but then I came out from my shell and then I participated in lots of extracurricular activities.
00:34And I'm glad to share that I'm a president of Marketing Club and I have done lots of extracurricular activities in this curriculum.
00:42And I was a co-convener for ISJSI International Conference. I was heading Glory 2025 and I have done those things in my curriculum.
00:51If I talk about my learnings, PIBM has made me a better human being, an active listener and a great leader.
00:57And if I talk about my academic journey so far, I was a very average student when I came here.
01:02But PIBM and all the faculties and management helped me and enhanced my skills in terms of communications and interpersonal skills.
01:11And if I talk about my internships, I have done two internships in this curriculum.
01:14And I'm very glad and very happy that PIBM offers you two internships in the PGDM course or in MBA course.
01:22And if I talk about one of the internships, which helped me to get placed with EY because the job role for my internship and my current job, which is business consulting, aligning.
01:32And that was a thing.
01:33And that internship was with ISJSI International Conference, which was offered by PIBM itself.
01:39I talk about my summer internship.
01:41It was with the FMCC sector where I got the hands-on experience of the field and the promotion and the sales distribution.
01:49So that was my journey with PIBM.
01:51And I'm very grateful for all the things that PIBM has given me, all the ups and downs.
01:56And that was a roller coaster ride, which I had last year.
