00:00And as many of us who are looking at our phones know that the Senate has passed the bill under unanimous, from Zach!
00:20Wow. That was great.
00:30It was the women survivors who were here with us tonight who passed this bill because it was their bravery, it was their pain, and it was their light.
00:59That shone through the darkness that passed this bill today.
01:05And so I am thinking about so many women as I am here today.
01:10And most of all, you know, I am thinking about Virginia Roberts Giffray.
01:21We would not be here without her. There is no doubt in my mind about that.
01:26And, you know, I very much, I think, like many people, you know, there were fights going on.
01:34There were definitely women that, you know, worked so hard for so long for justice.
01:38But I had, you know, given up on the idea that anything would happen in this case.
01:44After the sweetheart deal, I felt like everyone knew about Epstein.
01:48We would see things in tabloids about Epstein. This was not a secret, right?
01:51And when I first saw the photo of Virginia and Prince Andrew, I was at my job.
02:00I remember so clearly the moment that it popped up on my computer screen and I just kind of was taken aback.
02:06And I just immediately knew the truth behind that photo.
02:11And I felt the bravery of this woman who was taking on the world with this story and was being met with such contempt and disrespect.
