00:00You are planning, you said you are planning to sell the F-35 jets to Saudi Arabia.
00:05Is it part of the security agreement?
00:08And how you assess the defense partnership between Saudi Arabia and the United States?
00:13And the question for you is...
00:14Well, I just said it, but I mean, we're going to sell them F-35s.
00:18That's the only good question, I guess.
00:19Is it part of the security agreement or no?
00:21No, we're going to have a deal.
00:24They're going to purchase F-35s.
00:26They're buying them from Lockheed.
00:28And it's a great plane.
00:30We make, by the way, the best military equipment.
00:33You saw that during the Iran little skirmish.
00:35We make the best planes, the best missiles.
00:38We make the best defensive missiles.
00:41We make the best military equipment in the world.
00:44Nice.
00:45For President Royal Highness, I'd like to ask about how you see the cooperation between the United States and Saudi Arabia
00:50in the technological, advanced technological field, especially AI,
00:54and how it will support Saudi Arabia to serve its goal to achieve the vision of 2030.
00:59Well, I would try to answer that in short.
01:00But definitely, there's a lot of interest in many industries between Saudi Arabia and America.
01:03And we are signing a lot of agreement in different areas that would really add value to American economy,
01:07but also would add value to us in Saudi Arabia.
01:10And AI, it's critical for us, because one of the long-term problems that we could have is lack of workforce.
01:17As you've seen in the past few years, some of them reached 30% of the global immigration to Saudi Arabia.
01:23So we know that to assure the Saudi Arabia GDP growing with the lack of workforce that we have,
01:30we need to use a lot of computing power to replace jobs in the long term.
01:35So that's huge demand in Saudi Arabia, and we want to link it to American private sectors
01:42and help getting the supply from America.
01:44So there's a lot of opportunities in that area.
01:47And we're also involved in AI in Saudi Arabia.
01:50So we're working.
01:52And again, we're leading by a lot on AI.
01:55Actually, China would be in second place.
01:57But we're leading by a lot.
01:59And I have to say this, and our relationship with China has been very good.
02:03And as far as buying our farm products, they're pretty much on schedule, Scott.
02:09I'd like you to call them, say if they could speed it up.
02:11Okay, but they're pretty much on schedule.
02:13Mr. President, can you please?
02:17I may have a question for both the Congress.
02:19Who are you?
02:21Who are your friends?
02:22Faisal Abbas from Arab News, Saudi Arabia.
02:24Your Excellency.
02:25You should be afraid of the question.
02:28Your Royal Highness, just picking up on something you've just mentioned
02:32about how some people try to destroy the relationship between Saudi Arabia and the United States.
02:37countries, perhaps, you know, since the launch of the vision,
02:40we've been used to having the bigger picture and that everything fits into the bigger picture.
02:45Might you want to elaborate a little bit about where is the relationship,
02:50the bilateral relationship, the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia
02:53and the United States heading?
02:56And what's the big picture there?
02:57Well, I don't think it's a relation that we can replace it from the Saudi side or the American side.
03:02It's a critical relationship for our political attempt, for our economical attempt,
03:09for our security, for our military, for many things.
03:13And it's been there for nine decades.
03:16And the opportunities that we have today is huge and seems that it's going to get deeper in the next few decades.
03:23And what we are having today and tomorrow with President Trump,
03:26it's really a huge new chapter on this relation that will add value to both of us.
03:32You know, when you think about it, I'm just sitting here.
03:35You're with a future king, a man who's respected by everybody,
03:39a man that doesn't have to be doing this, really.
03:41I don't have to be doing it either.
03:44And yet we're sitting here taking questions.
03:47We didn't say, oh, you can't talk about this.
03:49And there's never been transparency like this, even in his country.
03:54But there's never been.
03:55In our country, that's been acknowledged.
03:57But we didn't put restrictions.
03:59And I'm saying it's sort of wonderful to be taking questions from all over the world.
04:05Everybody's here.
04:05This is a small group representative of tremendous numbers of media that are outside.
04:11They're very jealous that these people were so celebrated.
04:15But they're representing a lot of people that are outside.
04:17I think it's terrific that we could be sitting here being this open.
04:21And, you know, I think it's really a wonderful thing.
